Do you really think it is possible to be pregnant and not know?

I was watching this show and the woman gave birth not knowing she was pregnant. So she says. She said she had no idea she was pregnant.I don't see how a person can not know something is different especially when the baby moves. It is kinda hardt to not notice that. What do you think?

I dont know if I should believe this or not- but my friend's sister said she didn't know she was pregnant. She said that she had her period the whole time! I guess that could've been spotting. But she drank and smoked the whole time. Thank goodness the baby is VERY healthy! How could you not feel the difference!

That is great that the baby turned out to be okay. I don't know how someone could not feel the movement.

Every once in awhile you'll hear this type of thing in the news. It seems amazing that they wouldn't know, but usually they have good reasons...irregular menstrual cycles. Also, if you are overweight, it takes longer for you to be able to feel the baby move.

yeah I think so to that it is hard and not feel then the baby moving and kicking. But it seams to be some womens who don´t know about that they are pregnant it´s not the first so seams that it can be like that

Hi jmcafam :) I think it would be awfully hard to go through the entire pregnancy and actually GIVE BIRTH, never knowing you were pregnant. But I can tell you that, with my second child, I honestly did NOT know I was pregnant. When I finally questioned it, took a pregnancy test (which was shockingly positive) and went to the doctor, she said, "Congratulations! You're between 12 and 16 weeks along!" Can we say shortest pregnancy EVER? LOL Mind you, I was thrilled beyond belief since I wanted to have another child and was even discouraged because I thought I wasn't going to be able to have one.

funny u mention this. i was in high school (11th grade) and went to the city library one day. all of the ladies were gathered there talking about one of their collegues. so from what they talked about she started feeling sick a night before and she assumed she had liver or stomach problems again. so they took her to the hospital. there she found out she was gonna have a baby. the women around started to wonder how come she didn't realize she was pregnant all these months. the young mother seems to have explained it that way. she always had problems with her period, and the delay didn't made her worry. and she always had problems with stomach and gas so she assumed her belly (she was pretty thin so the belly was not so big) was a little bigger coz of that. the story is as true as it can be, i know all those ladies, but i still can't imagine how can a woman not realize she's gonna have a baby.
