Shall the braves trade Andrew Jones right now? I believe they should do it asap to the American league, where they can get some legit young players. Do you
agree?

Um, define young players. I mean, Andruw is still not 30, so he is in his prime. Maybe the Braves need to accept that he is a player to build a franchise around and look to develop what he needs to be succesful. He is a true franchise player and probably a future Hall of Famer. Trade Chipper if you are gonna trade a star...he breaks down all the time.

Definitely disagree. With the bullpen they now have, the core of good young players and Chipper and Andruw they are a legitimate contender this year. Last year's finish has made them hungry and anxious to regain their accustomed spot atop the division. They'll be able to resign Andruw after this season, especially if the Braves can reach or possibly take the World Series.

Absolutely not! No way. Andruw Jones is probably in the worst slump of his career right now at 0 for 18. Granted, that is horrible, but one thing is for sure, he is going to snap out of it in a big way. The Braves need him for both his bat and his grace in the outfield. I am not sure what the Braves would be like without him, but as history has proven, when the Braves release an up and coming ballplayer or one that is about to break it wide open, they come back to haunt us in a big way.
Andruw Jones is an asset to Atlanta. He wants to retire here with the Braves. I definitely believe that he should be allowed to. One thing is for sure, with the slump he is in and if he cannot recover, we might not get the players that we need to replace him. His price tag will certainly drop if he does not improve quickly.

If they want to make that trade the Orioles shoul definitely be trying to work with them. The Orioles have a bunch of raw talented young pitchers, and the Braves have a habbit of developing them. The O's would love to have an outfielder like Jones!
