Tips for DJing?

We've been DJing small dances for a number of years now, but DH has just been offered a paid DJ position for a weekly dance night at a local club. Anything we should know going in? I mean, he's already super comfortable DJing, but I think now that somebody's actually paying him for it, he wants to make sure he does what is expected.

Should make sure that he has a connection with the people. this is a great skill. try to dance a little, people will follow your lead and i promise you will end up with a great show.

He already has experience and obviously was offered the paid position on the basis of that. I am sure that they did not offer him the position without knowing what he is like, how the customers react to him etc so suggest that he talks to the club and see if they want anything else. Perhaps he should ask them if they want him to continue using the same style of Djing that he has been using in the past.
Good luck with it. I think he is lucky to have an offer to be paid for something that he obviously likes doing.
