crunchymama It stands for Community Supported Agriculture. You buy a share of a farm, and then you get fresh produce all season. Like buying a stock, but the dividends are paid in vegetables.

crunchymama And he breastfed, too, probably until he was 3-5 years old, assuming they followed the cultural norms of the era. And, well, he seemed to have been fairly well-adjusted. LOL

crunchymama What is it about little kids and sleeping so that they take up as much room as possible? Our family of 3 usually forms an "H" at night. Me on one side, DH on the other, DS in the middle with his head pushed up against my stomach and his feet on daddy's head.

crunchymama ITA about being warmer! Our 2YO still needs to be roused in the middle of the night to pee or else we get wet about once a week. I usually wake up around 3 anyway, and just prop the child up, hold up a suitable container, let him go, and we all go right back...

crunchymama Yes. I have about 20 different slings (well, I make them...) and like each one for different reasons. Though, I gotta say, for all-purpose use, the wrap is hands-down my favorite. If I could only own one, it'd be my solarveil wrap.

Cloth or disposable? I use both. I like the benefits of the cloth because you know where they came from.. Very affordable and pay for themselves over and over.. Disposable.. I love to be honest. Pull out put on throw away......

crunchymama PS, many (if not most) people who use modern cloth diapers don't soak them. Just shake the poop off (using a fleece liner makes this step a breeze, or you can use a diaper sprayer) then toss in a dry pail until wash day. No reason to soak, really.

crunchymama We used all cloth. There are so many issues with disposable - health, rash, chemical, environmental. Disposables contain dioxin, which is a very toxic chemical. They contain chemicals which were banned from tampons in the 1980s. Icky. Usually if a baby...
