In her book Sink Reflections and on her website www.flylady.net, the Flylady has great ideas for putting together a system to clean and declutter your home and keep it that way.
It has been a tremendous help to me. I have gotten rid of a lot of clutter. My house is a lot cleaner because of her help.
I highly recommend the book and the website.

I am just now in the process of checking out the site in it's entirity. I placed a discussion on myLot about ways to clean and organize my cleaning of my home to make it flow better about a week ago, you can check it on my profile if you like. Someone suggested flylady.com and I've been looking at the site. There are some things on there that really won't work for me, but so far, I see many things that I can implement to make my house cleaner. So it has really worked for you? Do you do the whole system, like it says? How long, going by the weeks, did it take you to get your house in order? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It worked really well for me. I always have had a hard time keeping things in order, but the flylady system really got me on track. I don't know why, but just getting into the habit of doing things helps tremendously. It really only took me a few weeks to get my apartment completely in order. Then it's much easier to keep clean and organized if you just keep following the system.

Ive heard nothing but great things about her. Ive not done her tips but should. I just moved to a new house and although its fairly organized right now, Id like to keep up with it.
Thanks for recommending her. Another person who can vouch for her great organizational skills.
Thanks...I will try to check her out soon.

I have heard a lot of people say her ideas and techniques work. Me, I'm too set in my ways and like to do it my way to give in to someone's orders! lol
Call me pig headed I guess!

I am moving into a new house this month, and I am so glad that I found flylady just a few weeks ago! I have gotten myself in the habit of many new things and it will be great to keep my new house nice, clean, and decluttered. It is really a great site to help get organized and your home life on track without being overwhelming. I really love the site and suggest it to anyone out there.

I haven't actually followed the website for a year or so, but I do keep a lot of her things in mind. I'm good at doing the 15 minute clean ups. I also go through rooms and toss stuff out when I can. I think the idea is great, and I really ought to get back into it again.

yes another believer here. I always say to my husband now that I am only 15 minutes away from being ready for company. It is a great system and she also has a book called body clutter which deals with decluttering our bodies and minds. Keeping positive. She wrote these books from her own experiences so has learned from her mistakes and is helping the rest of us do the same.

This website has turned my entire life around. Even if you implement only the first abby step- shining your sink before bed every night, you notice soon enough that everything else falls into place.
Do you have a control journal? I find having all the info in a hardcopy is great and I can make little notes and highlight things that are really important and relevant to me. I printed off copies off the zones and so on, and changed them to suit my house and lifestyle.
This site is probably one of the best sites I have found for anyone wanting to get organised, implement routines, and change their life.
I too, very highly reccommend it.
