See, i'm new here, as of lastnight actually, I don't know the ropes, actually i don't really know very much at all about it. Everyone is on here for different reasons, and i know that, and it doesn't matter, I would just like to know how to use this thing, Picking best responces, The photos, everything... So if anyone can tell me, please, I would greatly appreciate it. And please no crude answers, I'm just asking a simple question.

If you're asking where on the screen the best response key is, it's right beside a poster's name. if you're asking what criteria constitute a best response, for me it's a thoughtful answer that's well-written and original. I like responses that teach me something too. I hope this helps.

I usually wait till I've received adequate responses to my discussions before I award one as the "best response". Until I choose one, I make sure to rate the responses I get appropriately (+) for well thought out and quality responses, (-) for those that have little value to add to the discussion and are just trying to earn a point by responding to everything and anything regardless. Then, there is the (!), which I use often to report those that violate myLot's writers guidelines, especially those that plagiarize, copyright infringe, or copy and paste someone elses response. After a day or two, I go back to my discussions and decide which one response stood out the most as a well thought out and quality response, and they get rewarded "best response". Not always will this response have a photo with it, as I am more interested in words--I value words.

You choose the response that you feel is the most relevant to your topic and that is the most thorough. Also, look for additional info from responder that may be beneficial to your topic and is the answer that you prefer overall. Hope this helps

When I choose a best answer, it means that the person has provided a lot of details in their response and have given me some valuable information, maybe even solved my problem. Whatever you do, don't play the system by adding friends and deciding to take turns giving eachother best response, I've seen it done and it's cheating.

The response which clarifies your query or problem is generally chosen the best response by the user who starts a particular discussion. You should chose the best reponse as it motivates them to write and give their full potential in MyLot.

Yeah sure!My way for choosing the best response is that those responses which are logically prooven(by given reason by the respondant) and by reading the response i conclude that this response is written in some logically correct period of time, i readily chose that the best response

For me, I'll mark the best response as the one that answers to my discussion thoroughly. It can be one that helps me with a decision making with reasons to substantiate his stance. Other times, it might be something informative and an answer that I've not thought of. If there are 2 similar responses, then the first mylot member will get it to be fair.

Hello, and welcome to the community, hope you're doing a good job and enjoying at the same time.
I pick best response on members who answered my question in which my question have been answered elaborately and correctly, something that I have learned into and became satisfied. That's how I pick for it.
