I have always been a fan of the get paid to... sites such as Treasure Trooper because they were free and easy to get referrals and I didn't have to do a whole lot of work or invest a whole lot of time, but recently I've been getting involved in various other things such as affiliate marketing, the bum marketing method, and private label rights. I have had some decent success with private label rights, but would like to know if people out there are intent on doing things with them, want to know more about how to use them, etc...
If you do use them how do you use them? Just sell them? Use them with affiliate marketing? Put them on a webpage with google adsense? Please discuss.

How come you never respond to your friends discussions? You are not a very good friend.

Wow,
You came to my discussion thread and publically called me out for something like that and I'm not the good friend? I have quite a few friends and I try to make it a point to go to discussions my friends have started and answer 20 or so a day if they interest me, but even then I'm not even getting to a 1/3 of my friends so it's tough.
I haven't been active the last few days and yesterday was New Years Eve so I had a lot going on so I would appreciate it if you'd kindly step off. Posts like that certainly won't entice me to come respond to your discussions. Take care.

Usually you don't see anything with entire books as editing the content wouldn't likely benefit the person doing so that much. With Private Label Rights usually you're purchasing the rights to change it and make it your own so you can re-sale it or use it in another way. Now ebooks, yes certainly. Lots of people sell the Private Label Rights to ebooks. People couple them with others, change them to suit them and often include their own affiliate links and it's a great way to earn a little extra income. Hope that helps. Good day to you.

Great discussion topic. I've never heard of private label rights. But it sounds like something I need to check out. When you say, you can create your own products, what types. For instances I write books, can I do something with that on private label rights?

cmost,
I assume you're talking about associated content. I submitted a CSO for them just recently, but got my first article declined because it was time sensitive and it took them over 7-8 days to get to it, which was frustrating because I anticipated five at the most. They must have a large influx of articles going in there of late. Best of luck to you.

Let me see what I can provide you with. First of all Paul Kleinmeulman hs some free reports/mini-courses where you can likely learn quite a bit found here:

There's also tons of information over at this private label rights, but I would read around and find something that suits you before I started spending money over there. Gather all the information you can for free. If you're really interested don't be lazy with it - it's profitable - moreso than playing exodus ;-)

Best of luck to your success.

I have some of those same programs, I have not used them yet, and I have not sold them. They are currently just sitting on my hard drive I will probably start either marketing them or actually using the information. I just havent decided how to do that yet.

Anne,
What do you mean by legit ones? I mean that's depending on what you're looking for more than anything? Private Label Rights aren't really a scam persay.

Without a doubt it's legal. I certainly wouldn't do anything that was illegal, nor would I suggest other people take a peak and see if it's something that suits them. If you'd like look up oldbuddy on these forums and he can probably tell you even more about it than me. It's definitely something to get your hands wet in IF you think it will be profitable for you.

I am not very familiar with Private Label Marketing. Please explain and then let me know what the benefits are. I am in need of a way to make a lot of money to support my Psychic addiction. Don't ask. I do a bit of affiliate marketing, but I have been so tapped for cash, I have even had to cut that out!

Let me explain this the best I can and we'll see what happens. Private Label Rights essentially allow you to take another person's work and edit the content so that it looks like yours. Just because you have the Private Label Rights doesn't mean you have the copyrights, reprinting, and resaling rights, but if you do (and I'd venture to say that many operate this way from what I've seen) you can make the work your own and redistribute them for profit. You can get a lot of "niche specific" private label rights for relatively cheap and often resale them once or twice and essentially then you're in the profit. I hope that helps.

You can find a link to the Private Label Rights I've been tinkering with in my profile. I bought them for right at $5.00 and get 100% commission on any I sell. Anyone else who purchases them can do the same. It's really easy if you know a few people who might be interested in both the product (it's a good one), and the comission. You can't beat 100%

As a ghostwriter, I create products for many clients that are then sold with PLR. I also work with many clients who have purchased PLR products. In answer to your question, here is what I have found.
1. You always need to have a PLR product rewritten to make it uniquely yours.
2. Many clients use the PLR product as a foundation - they then expand on the product to make it worth a great deal more.
3. Clients also rewrite and compile numerous related products to create one large, higher ticket product.
4. I have one client who turns written work into audio, and sells the recordings either as a digital product or on CD.
Most of my clients already have large opt-in lists, and they sell their 'new' products to those lists. Others use PPC to promote their products.
