My brother just got a Bordie Collie and plans to have it sprayed when it comes in season, I believe it was £140 or there abouts.
That was in the East Midlands.

I know! I wanted a collie bitc h (Curse the MyLot word filter) myself, the price of being sprayed would equal the price I'd buy the pup for!

I really have no clue.
I know in my area it depends on their weight. My small dog who is 29lbs cost $200, while my other dog is $150 more to get done because she is 80lbs.
Plus they want an additional $90 for blood work for each dog.
Hope that helps.

Just call your vet and ask, or ask the humane society if they will do it. - DNatureofDTrain.

Most vets charger per lb. So it would depend on the size of the dog.

Depends where you live. Near me, there are low cost spay and neuter programs where it is about $72 to have the procedure done.

Most cities have spay/neuter clinics where you can get spaying done much cheaper than a vet.
Also in my city, we have organizations that help with that cost also. I only paid $ 10 for spay cats. These are funds either started by individuals or groups for low income pet owners. Just call and ask at clinics. Also call the animal control in your area to see if there are any low cost alternatives.

That all depends on how much your vet wants to charge you. They usually go by weight. A Yorkie isn't very big so it shouldn't be all that much. I just got my 2 females spayed & it cost me around $90 each. But they're both in the 50lb range. So it should be less for a Yorkie. But, like I said, it all depends on what the vet wants to charge. The best way to find out is to call around to different vets & get prices.
