Cats that Stare at the Ceiling !

Canada

Have you ever noticed that some cats will sit and stare at the ceiling. They stare and stare at a certain spot until you start to stare at it too. You look and look, and say " What is the cat staring at?" and then the cat will just walk away, tail in the air, and look at you, as if you are doing something too stupid for words. I THINK IT"S A TRICK !!!

Maybe they see a ghost? I always think they are are staring because they as animals can see things we can not.

My cat's too busy sleeping all day to stare at anything other than food when she awakens. LOL

I've read that cats can see littlebit more than we, humans. They are sposed to se littlebit in other dimensions. Humans simply cant see these things they look at. Sounds like hokus-pokus, but hey, do you have a better explonation? :)

Haha yeah, that must be a trick! It seems like lots of cats do that! Our cat does that too, or else she'll stare at the wall or something, and it drives me nuts trying to figure out what it is that she's staring at. lol

My parent's cat used to do that all the time, I started thinking she could see something we couldn't see (i.e. ghosts), but it might just have been that she could hear birds on the roof or something like that. My cat doesn't do it much at all, actually.

They do have a keen eye for those Invisible Bugs. It ends up being a test though, when you're so used to them tracking the invisible bug. You snap on a light to illuminate what they're staring at, and sometimes it's not so invisible.
