Heart Shaped Locket...HELP!!

I just bought my girlfriend a heart shaped locket for New Years (just because...I'm cute like that), but The guy selling it never really gave me a great chance to look inside of it, but I KNEW it looked awesome outside, and I could put a picture in it. Now, I bought it and when I looked at it, there are TWO spots for pictures! I wasn't expecting that, but it's so nice!
So my question is, what kind of pictures do I put on either side? One of me and one of her? Or one of both of us and a little note/saying?
Also, how do you open a locket to place a photo in it? UGH! lol...please help!

lol...your funny. The pictures have to be sooooooo small, which is the hard part. (trying to find a pic where u both fit) If you can, put one in of you and her and maybe one of her kids(if she has any) or a pet, or just another pic of you. If you can't find pics that will fit of you and her, just put you on one side, her on the other.
As far as opening it to put the pictures in, it should either have a little clip, or just pop out, be careful not to break it!!

See, as for the kids thing..she's 17...lol...I'm only 18, so we/she don't have any kids, but it was a good idea =P. But I'm thinking either two picture of us together, or 1 of her and one of me...

I would put one photo of you two together and then maybe a small photo of something that means something to her like a place as well or something you two have a special meaning for.

The pictures must be reduced or they have to be cut out of a photo and unless there is glass over each side of the locket you just glue them in. Otherwise you remove the glass like you would a watch face. That sounds like a great gift and an appropriate time to give it at the new year! You are quite clever huh?

Thank you very much =). I was going to give her this for Christmas, but she put a cap on how much we could spend for it, and I was good and didn't go over it (this gift is WAY over). So I'm going to surprise her with this now and hope for the best!

Who did you buy it from that he wouldn't let you look inside? I wouldn't have bought it from him, might be stolen. I think a lot of times a jeweler will help you put the photo in, but that's quite often if you buy it from a jeweler.

I did buy it from a jeweller, and he said to me to go to blacks...haha. But yes, I did see inside, jsut his thumb was covering up the opening flap, so I never noticed the second picture area.

My only advice for you is this... be carefull. If you are buying her presents for New Years now, you are going to have to do it for every New Years going forward... it is a slippery slope man... But I hope that it works for you.
As for the picture I would use the one that you have for you myLot avatar! And on the other side use mine. LOL

I think that might work! Haha. But yes, I actually like getting her things, that's why I joined a couple of these sites. I wanted to get extra money to do nice things for her and buy myself some nice things, as well!

It actually has on the front of it "I Love You" with a rose, as well. I thought it looked quite cute and actually doesn't need pictures, but it doesn't feel complete without them.

If you can find one small enough, a picture of both of you. If not, just a pic of you and a note on the other side with something sweet about finding the right picture together.
She is a lucky girl to have someone like you.

Lol, this is cute. there are usually two spoys, I'd put one of you and one of her, as you usually have to use such a tiny pics, i don't think you should both be crammed on one side and a note may not fit very well,though it's a great idea. As for opening it, let someone who is actually with you help with that, I couldnt tell you without seeing it, and I wouldnt want you to break it, by anything that I said. Good luck!

However, it should have a gap to slide a picture in it if not i have no idea

I actually found that it has a thin sheet of plastic over top that can be picked out and a picture placed behind it, but I was just going to go to Blacks to get the picture done

I think it would be nice to put a picture of you on one side and a picture of your girlfreind on the other side. There should be a tiny clasp on the locket which allows you to open the locket--just be careful because it could be delicate and you don't want to break it. Happy New Year to you both.

What a sweet guy you are, your girlfriend is lucky. If I were you, I would put a pic of you and a pic of her inside, that just seems fitting. I hope she likes it and happy New Year to both of you!!

since the spot for photos is very small. i suggest you to place one a picture of you and the other one a picture of her. good luck to you. hope she likes it.. :)

you put one of both of you and a little saying is a good choice.this pic must be a one which can prove your sweet love.and you are all happy inside it.now that that locket is heart shaped ,so you pick up a pic both of you .it tell you won't apart forever.
