New Strategy For My Responses

I have always gone into my friends folder and tried to respond to one page per day until I had responded to each friend at least once. Well it is getting more difficult to do this as my friends increase daily. So here is my new strategy, I will check out my new discussions daily, which I plan to have at least 4 per day. The people, whether they are listed as a friend or not, will receive a response from me on one of their discussions. This is the only way I can seem to do this and be fair and support those that support me. Any comments or questions?

This is a good idea in order for you to cut down on the amount of time that you need to invest. But what if everyone does this? What if everyone waits for someone to respond to their discussions before responding to others? What will happen then? We will have a lot more discussions with no responces. That will defeat the purpose of starting discussions. Just a thought...

I know, but until I can find a better way to support my supporters I have no ideas what to do. I try to do at the very least 20 resposes a day, some days 50. So I am sure I will revert back to my friends to do some responses. I just didn't want my friends to think I was no longer going to respond to their discussions. I am also trying to get friends to support one another. I have some friends who have never responded and I understand some just do not have anything to say on my discussions so I was trying to be fair and still include them. I am beginning to add up a lot of discusiions now so I would think my friends could find one or two to respind to.

HAHA! I swear I re-read this post twice before I sent it and still I have all kinds of errors. Sorry the main word I apparently can not spell is response!

yes it is a bit of a problem every morning i have about 75 discussions and it is hard to answer all of them i pick out the best and delete the rest other wise you would be on the computor all day.

Yes I try to respond to the most recent first, then I check my friends new discussions, then I try to respond to at least respond to my most active freinds discussions, then I may go back and comment on some older discussions

I am having the same problem, wmg. I think that even the strategy you just mentioned will also be difficult to follow, especially if you have a lot of responses to your discussions. I try to support the friends that I have that show a lot of support for me and those number a lot less than my total friends list. But I always try to post on my strong supporter friends discussions and then post when I can fing the time on the others.

Yes it will get difficult if I begin to get a large following on my discussions, then I will have to revamp my decision. For now I am going to try my best to support those that support me. I don't want to leave anyone out.

I am doing the same thing. Anyone who takes the time to read and respond to my posts, I go in and respond to one of theirs. Whether you are my friend or not, because honestly I may have too many Friends in my list right now, and I only want to be fair to those who are responding to me the most usually from now on.

I am also finding hard to respond to all the discussions that responds to my post. What I usually does is give rating to all the good responses and try to respond in general to all the post. I also try to reply my friend's post as far as I could.

Friends are important to have as long as they are supporting you. So just concentrate on the supporters and it will be easier.

it is great that you support your friends, and yes sometimes it does take too much to respond to a bunch of your friends if you have alot of them. i know that i find it difficult sometimes.

You are welcome. Yes I have some discussions that have zero responses, but I just keep trying to find something people will discuss. I honestly think having supportive friends really help keeps the discussions alive. Get freinds that are active, support your friends, make yourself known and you will see things begin to happen for you. Good luck to you and keep on POSTING! Happy New Year

This sounds like a reasonable decision. I've been trying to keep up with friends discussions also and it seems that as you add more friends, of course the reading increases :)

Hmm ,,, the idea sounds good but i dunno whether it would work out practically since i would give prefernce more to topics of discussion rahter than being concerned whether its posted by friend or not .......common along with making bug u have to keep spirit of mylot alive !!!!!!!
