I don't think that life could continue here on earth for another 1000 years. I think that within the next 500 years we will have exhausted all natural resources and abused the planet so much, that it will have turend into a desolate wasteland that is uanble to supprot life. I think moon colonisation is teh next step fror humanity and will happen within the next 250 years in anticipation of the demise of humanity here on earth.

Nobody can say when but there is some hints i.e. there will be huge injustice, killing, sin in world and there will be not a single person who will believe God at this time Jessus or Hazrat Issa (ASM)will come to the world after many turmoil one day Israfil will activate his flute first time when everything in the world will be destroyed and all lives will time - the world will destroy. This is religious thinking of Muslim.

Maybe 2000 years more the whole world will be as what Mars be. But I think It will take 1 Million years to change the world, because every source or every part in this planet Earth will not go away to another Planet. But the nuclear bomb I think will change the world fast but not what as you think.

I don't think the world is going to end. It'll continue on for as long as it can. If nothing hit earth that's going to destory it, I don't see how that's going to happen.

i dont think world will end in 1000years, when the world took 1 million years to create itself to again transform into other state it will take another 1 million year, the final destruction would be caused due to damage of ozone layer, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcano.

You are wright in every word but don't forget that you can't predict the future.Probably in the next 25 years it will begin a nuclear war. That will wipe out all life form from the face of the world.Or the clime will become unstable and will send us in the middle ages.

There are a lot of problems facing this planet and the consequences of those issues I pray I am not around to see. In the US we have those fault lines and the threat of a major impending earthquake in California; the melting of the ice caps in the poles and the flooding that will ensue; the danger of the ozone disappearing; and the threat to life that those tidal waves impose on islands along the pacific coast; and what's up with the unstable nature of the Bermuda Triangle; not to mention these third world countries that think it is their right to continue testing nuclear weapons.I know their are things we can do, to change what seems to be inevitable but will those choice be made and implemented, 'who knows'...SS
