Running in todays world is only proffessional like track and field, and other athletic sports. But for me running is to jog regularly in the mornings and to keep our selves fit and healthy.Even though i am an athlete in track and field events i advice my friends and my relatives to have morning jogs or walks to keep themselves fit and healthy.

Yeah you're right there are quite a few reason why people run. I used to run because I wanted to get fit...now I usually run to run...away...from things I can't really run away from. You know when you're all tied up with all the BS that's happening with your life. Running seems to be a nice way to forget about things for a while.

Simply because it's good for the bones, and I need all the help I can get for my bones, since milk is like my enemy and I don't have a lot of other dietary contributions to my calcium intake.
And it's actually not all that bad, I figure I could probably win something if I bothered to train intensely, but I'm always too lazy these days to try.

I run because I find it fun, and it relieves stress. It's also an easy thing to do, you can run just about any where how ever fast you want. It also gives me a chance to think about things(part of the stress reliever).

I usually run because I'm good at it. I'm black, and for some reason, i always beat everyone in my class at running and sports. i'm kinda lazy, soz i dont always try, but even them i still beat them. I guess i run because i'm just really good at it.

Running is my personal time to unwind and have some quiet time. If i am every grumpy, i konw that i just need to go for a run and when i get back i am back to being happy and with a new outlook on things.
I also love running in races, from 5kms-half marathons. I love the adrenaline rush that i get from it, before, during and after the race. It's a great feeling of accomplishment.
As well, it's a great way to stay in shape as well as cross training for the other sports that i play.
Are you a runner? What is your reason?
