Okay, the new season has started and it hasn't been that great so far. Abe got kicked off like he did on his first season of Road Rules. I think he needs to grow up. Did Road Rules tape before the last episode of the challenge where he and Jodi won? He was with that other pretty girl, Johanna, then and he was going to use his winnings to plan a wedding. I loved CT and Diem from the challenge show. They were such a cute couple.

Though they look alot alike, you are a bit confused. Abe is the one from Road Rules, who was just kicked off. You are thinking of Wes...he is the one with Johanna and was just on the challenge and won it. According to the "after show", he and Johanna are not engaged yet. They bought a home and a bar and are going at that for now but said whenever Johanna wants to get married, he is there and wants too.
CT and Diem, I was not a huge fan...just because at times Diem was SO annoying. However, they did seem happy. According to the after show however...they are not together. He said the distance was too much and it was too soon for either of them to consider moving closer.
I am not sure what I think of this new Road Rules, the challenges seem ok, but this voting thing? Not so much. Just seems like a challenge show again with newbies. Hopefully it will get better!

I agree. I mean, I watch the show, but when it is done...I don't go and vote. They also need to keep in mind that there are still people out there who do not have the internet or computer access. I think they just thought that American Idol did so well, lets try something simular.

I agree, I think it is nice to have a 'feel" for the cast members, with the newbies that they threw in, you don't have that. Though the shows are still good, I did prefer it the other way. I suppose it is just to change things up.
New season road rules, Jan 30th!! Comming fast!! yeah!

they decide they got better ratings doing the challenges than the road rules alone. I actually liked Road Rules too because of the challenges they had to do. but i love the challenges with road rules vs real world. that is more exciting+

OH I agree, I LOVE the challenges the best. I just wish they were on more than a half hour at a time. I always hate having to wait a week. When I had DVR I would take 2-3wks then watch. I just don't care for the "newbies", I guess cause we didn't get a chance to "know"them, or relate to them like we do when they have their individual shows on. Plus it makes sence to have Road Rules VS Real World.

They are bringing back RR January 30th :)
i read on a site that is pretty reliable that something happened during Road Rules X-treme that they didn't show that caused teh stop of production.
i think it was that fact that it was also very predictable, i had even stopped watching for a bit because i could tell what was going to happen on the next episode.

I have to agree with you on the predictablility factor, maybe this season with the new twist of voting will help? They also had time to revamp the whole idea. Lets hope!
I wonder what happened that they didn't show and caused for it to stop. Did the site say anything? You would think that by now something would have leaked about it.

I'm pretty sure that they are bringing it back sometime this month. I'm not sure when, you'll have to check the mtv website. But, I remember seeing a commercial just the other day for a new season. It will still have the voting on it, but I think the starting 5 people will be old road rules people. I'm excited for it to start.

Why don't you send in an audition tape. If you go to the MTV website they have a section for upcomming shows that they need people for. Good luck!
