Should People with Pitbulls be allowed to Have them around children?

This topic isn;t just for pitbulls but all "high risk" considered dogs. Chows, Dobs, Shepards, Wolf mixes. We see the horror stories on tv all the time and my sister ws attack out of the blue by a doberman we had for SEVEN years....

shylock_chi Well all pitbulls, rottweilers etc are not bad. Still however, around children is a no no. I was even told by my pitbull's veterinarian that when dogs see babies crawling, they actually mistake them for other animals.

shylock_chi Yea, society shouldnt blame the dogs. Its the trainers!!! I have a pitbull also. He never barks at people unless they get real close too me. He doesn't even bark at other dogs until he senses their aggression. I think people should be punished for their dogs...
