First computer?

first computer at home is a 486 computer for the whole family. first computer which i myself assembled from my own money is an intel celeron 900 pc with 512mb memory and 40gb harddisk capacity plus one cdrom and one dvdwriter and additional pixelview tvtuner but the pc does not have any floppy disk drive. i'm using it now.

I've never had a laptop. Good for you girl. You have at least have owned a laptop your life. I don't. I prefer pc though because of more memory than the laptop. Laptop is also sensitive and when it get's destroyed and need space parts it's sometimes hard to get the right one. I still prefer the desktop.

I think mine was a commodore 16 if I remember correctly and then I upgraded to a commodore 64 feeling rather trendy at the time!!

My very first computer was a Texas Instruments model that connected to the TV for it's monitor. Thank God those days are over.

My first computer is this very one that I'm typing on. Got it about 2-3 years ago and it's been nothing but great.
