I use Albuterol as a fast acting inhaler and as a maintainence med, I take an inhaled cortosteroid called Pulmicort twice a day. It seems to manage the symptoms well enough.

Hey there. I use Ventolin. I've been using that for as long as I can remember. I have also been on singulair (the pill). I was also on other inhalers but I can't think of the names of them! :)
Good luck. I hate having asthma sometimes! ;)

I use Albuteral for my fast acting inhaler. It seems to help alot. I play sports, take care of my two kids, work, and attend college classes on an almost daily basis. I do alot of running around during the day and alot of things that I come in contact with on a daily basis trigger my asthma. I use my inhaler 4 times a week and it stops each attact in its tract. I recomend the Albuteral Inhaler. It works for me.

I use an Albuterol inhaler.
But, I use it 2 - 4 times a day. I can't afford the Advair ($180 - no health insurance), so I have to use Albuterol all the time. When I was using the Advair, I was only using the Albuterol once a month when it was an emergency.
What're you using right now?
