I notice a lot of posts from Asia, some from Africa, lots from USA and Canada. The only South American country I see represented is Brazil, and I have not met a user from Mexico yet. I have seen people from Europe. So, where are you from? I am from Kansas, a state right in the middle of the United States--it looks like a rectangle with the upper right corner broken off if you look at the map.

I was born and raised In Bannister Michigan. It's a small town, much smaller than Stillwater. It's about a half an hour north of lansing and 1 hour south of Mt. Pleasant. It's pretty close to the center of Michigan.

So has the snow that is closing Colorado been a problem for you as well? I know it gets very windy there.

Oh, I believe Kansas is a beautiful place. My son was on holidays there a couple of years back, and he is still wearing his Kansas t-shirt. I was born and reared in Dublin, in Ireland but due to health problems, I had to move out because of the smog. I am now living in a little village called Prosperous, near Naas, in county Kildare, and I must say, I love the country side much better than the hustle and bustle of Dublin.

Yes, it has some very beautiful parts. I chose to live here. I was born near Oklahoma City. I like to imagine the Irish countryside.

I saw a bear dumpster diving in Massachussets, someplace rural, as we were driving through.

Sounds like Sunday dinner from my growing up years. Do you put carrots and celery and onions in too? I can see why you do not want to be called late. Your myLot friends might eat all of your supper

What is on tonight's menu? I am partial to warm peach pie, topped by a scoop of butter pecan icecream.

Wow, I'm your neighbor! I live in Missouri, and it's only a short drive to Kansas from where I live in Kansas City, MO. I wonder too how many countries are represented here on Mylot. I hope that you get lots of responses to your topic!^_^

It's true. Most people in here are either from the U.S. or from India. Weird combination. I'm European by the way. I'm Greek, and I think I'm the only Greek in here.

It is true that you are the only Greek I have met so far. I have only seen Chile, and Brazil from South America, Two from France, one from Italy, A handful from Israel, at least one from Kuwait, Portugal, Phillipines,Indonesia has a lot. Canada of course is well represented. I am not really fixated on Mexico, but why do you suppose we do not have people from Mexico like we do from Canada?

I am from Scotland, that lovely country stuck onto the top of England. Full of heather and Haggis, lochs and glens, not to mention the midges (so I won't). Mountain views are breathtaking. It's the one place in the world that everyone should visit at least once (which you won't as you'll always want to return).

I'm from Illinois, USA. Have never been out of the country and I'll be 49 next month. Always wanted to visit another country but I feel it may be too late. Not enough money, etc...lol
Moved around the US a bit, though. Born in San Diego, lived in Utah, Oregon and Indiana. There's a chance we may move to Maryland sometime in the future which I really don't want to; CJ is doing so good in school here - A's and B's...I don't want to have to start over again; getting too old.

It is hard to move around so much, and with a special needs child the adjustment is harder. I hope whatever happens you can find some good support for CJ and you both.
