This discussion came to after a mylot started one about shopping after christmas. Does anyone ever notice that this? Everytime I go to Wal-mart and go in search of something I need, it could be a simple light bulb, that the isle will be empty when I get there but as soon as I get there...the whole isle will fill up with peole who just happen to need lightbulbs? Or somethng that is right on that isle? lol I tested this the other day, when i looked around in the isle I was in and there were people everywhere was empty when I went into the isle)and now it so full people are bumping into you and trying to shove me out of the way. So, me and my kids left this isle (by backing out because people were blocking the way out) and went and chose an isle that you wouldn't think anyone would come too after Christmas..and of course there was no one there but as soon as we got in the isle, guess what? Yep, here comes two elderly ladies from one end and a few seconds later a guy and then a man and women from the other end! lol We were stuck again, not able to get out! It's so frustrating! What's up with that? lol

LOL....good question! I have no idea but this often happens to me. I find it terribly annoying when your trying to find something on the shelf and someone stands in front of you...then you say "excuse me please" and they glare at you. I think there should be courses that teach manners while in public....there could be classrooms set in front of the larger stores...you have to pass the course to enter the store...then there would be shopping harmony!

I agree! It happens every darn time. The other day I needed toothpaste and a toothbrush. I knew which brands I wanted and I walked in the aisle and sure enough there was a family in front of the toothpaste. I said excuse me but they did not speak english so they ignored me. I turned around to get the toothbrush and sure enough the whole aisle was packed. There was a very large lady and a baby standing in front of the toothbrush that I wanted and she would not move. She was signing and dancing and just totally ignored me. I had to squish my skinny arm past here and reach for it just to get the one I wanted. The people in our Walmart are very rude too. When you are in the 20 items or less there are always people with 40, 60 or 100 items. Then there are 2 lines for 20 items or less and some of the people try and line jump when one line is moving faster. It is really out of control

I agree about the 20 or less items! That makes me so mad!!! I mean that is so wrong! I think they ought to tell those peole that do that, when they get up there that they must get out and get in another line that this is a 20 or less line. That would teach them!!

You haven't heard of this. It is a dirty trick by Wal-Mart that they have been implementing for the last couple of years. When I worked at the local WalMart they would pay homeless people to "box" people in the isle. That believe that most people will kinda just wait until the others move before the leave there for they may buy more... Tricky Wal-Mart... tricky.
Okay so nothing I just said is true.
But, it does seem to happen to me a lot. It makes me so made when someone comes into the isle and puts their cart on one side of the isle and then stands on the other side of the cart totally blocking the exit. What is it with some people that they are so inconciderate of others?

I hate that! I try to go around and by the time I go around there are more people on the aisle making it even more difficult to get to where I wanted to go.
Oh well...sometimes I think they should but little horns on shopping carts. Now wouldn't that be fun?

I know exactly what you mean lol. The same thing happens to me also. I can get on an aisle that looks like a ghost town and within 2 seconds, there's like 5 people and suddenly it's very crowded. Oh and I also hate it when people can clearly see you are trying to get by and they just stand there.

Sounds like other people were shopping in the same pattern as you were. It's just the law of averages. Many, many people shop at Wal-mart. Thousands of people pass through those aisles every day. I'd say people weren't purposely trying to annoy you.
