Joint Family or Nuclear Family...?

With time ...the trend/culture/ fashion changes too...The joint families are rare to find these days since the children separate their parents at the time when they should be shouldering their responsibilities...towards them.
Though both the systems have their merits or demerits; Why do you subscribe to your view for either of them?

you are absolutely right that trend are changing from joint families to nuclear family, just because of enough income opportunities are avaible these days and todays house is not fit for more than 1-2 families and people have to go out for thier survival, for the income. Its not me, majority believe in joint family but they also believe that its not workable in todys sincerio.
