I usually drink coffee when I have a migraine because that seems to speed the relief after I've taken the medication. I think the experience is different for everyone.

Different people have different triggers for migraine, and yes, coffee is a relatively common one. That doesnt mean all migraine sufferers should cut it out though, as it may be something totally different that sets you off. Its worth checking food triggers, cutting out one item at a time for several weeks then seeing what happens when you reintroduce it. Beware though, if you drink a lot of cofee withdrawel from it will probably give you a migraine to start with!

Coffee is one of those ones that can both trigger or help a migraine. It all depends on the person. Most migraine medication has caffiene in it so sometimes coffee can help. Again though for others it can cause them to start. Migraines are strange and every person is different as to what triggers them. If you suffer from migraines the best thing to do is keep a log, see if you can pinpoint what causes them. It could be several things but if you know you can try to avoid them. See a doctor about them. They might be able to rule out medical reasons for the migraines and help you with them.

I'm not really sure. I am not really a coffee drinker. But at the office, I can drink twice or thrice coffee in a day. I don't drink black or brewed coffee. Those are a little bit strong coffee. It can cause headache. :)
