Do you sew your own clothes? What clothing items do you prefer to buy?

Tailoring job (tailor for females clothes) is a profitable venture in India. My wife has sophisticated stitching machine at home and she cuts the cloth and stitch and saves quite a huge sum in a year.

It is definitely more economical to make clothes and other fabric items!

Not yet, but I'm working on it. I am starting by learning to sew clothing for my children. I buy most of my things at yard sales. Have to be frugal with a family of 5 and one income!

I don't make a lot for myself, but I make a lot of clothes for my children. Pajamas are my favorites. I found Walmart has some wonderful flannels that are so cute and adorable that my girls (and my son) have more flannel pj's that they could ever wear!!! I've even made a pair for my neighbor's neice.
