Have you seen the film, or been to the wonderful nights at the theatre?
The audience participation has to be seen to be believed, it is so very poular. Many people who usually just do not bother with the theatre will go just to be part of the crazy night out and the dressing up in fun.

I'm a big fan of the film - have seen it heaps of times, and never tire of it! Tim Curry is fantastic, as is good old Susan Sarandon, and I never realised it until recently, but Brad is played by the actor who plays the Mayor in Spin City! It's a great film - incidentally have you heard the dance version of the "Timewarp" by Damien, a Mancunian DJ? It's very good. Unfortunately I've never seen the stage show, but I've heard it's an absolute hoot; some of my very straight-laced friends who went to see it years ago got dressed up to the nines and really let their hair down - such is the power of the Rocky Horror!

I love the film (how sexy is Tim Curry in his sussies??) and I've seen it at the theatre a few times. I always dress up to go see it - any excuse to get the black latex on lol!! The last time it was November, freezing cold, pouring with rain and there I was wandering the streets half-naked. It's always a great night out though.

I know this is a rather old post but I have to respond. The Rocky Horror show and all it's glory holds such precious memories for me. My oldest brother took me to my first one. I loved it, he and I both dressed up, and he did my make up. And he taught me the lines before hand and armed with toast and a squirt bottle. I lost my brother years ago, he was struck down by a drunk driver.(His picture is in my profile) But I still have him with me always. However when I think of this movie and the fun we had, I feel like he is practically setting right here next to me.
Thanks for jogging some old memories, they can be so sweet to relive sometimes.

I love to see the live shows.
in the UK we don't have the sort of shows with the cinema screen and the live crew, just a theatre production, as it was meant to be.
it's fantastic.
I had so much fun, even if it meant walking through town in my underwear. hehe.

It is as popular as ever and it's great to see folks taking the opportunity to let their hair down and have a ball!!
You look great in the picture. I'm sure all the folks who saw you going through town, all got a little thrill from seeing the saucy you out having fun. Richard O'Sullivan raises loadsamoney every year for kids charities and its a wonderful thing.

Richard O'Brien
;)
we used to meet him occasionally at charity fetes when I still lived in Surrey. lovely lovely bloke.
one of the ones he used to do a lot for was a psychiatric home, where there are a lot of old ladies now, who in most cases were put in there by their parents for getting pregnant. they've been there their whole lives, practically.

I've watched Rocky Horror Picture Show at home and in the theater. I'm hoping that the next time there's a production of Rocky Horror Show in the area I'll be able to go see it. I love the music from it, and I'd love to see just how different from the movie it really is.
