How Many Of U Pray To God When U Get Up In The Morning???

I do. It is a good practice to turn to God in prayer at the very start of the day. We usually turn to the first thing we love in the morning whether it is our cellphone, our spouse, our baby, or even the clock. Seek first God's kingdom and His righteousness and may Christ be our first love every morning.

I see there are a lot of religious based threads on myLot today. What's with the praying ? Why do you pray ? You are asking an imaginary thing so that you may win the lottery or that your daddy to get better or escape cancer or aids and other stuff like that. Do any of your prayers come true ? I have the answer for this one. None. Am I right or wrong ? I am not a satanist or anything ... but I just ignore religious stuff as they don't help me at all

I try and pray every morning. I thank god for letting me and my family have a safe night sleep, I pray that me and my family have a good day and are kept safe and sound whereever we go. I thankhim for all he has done. Prayer life is very important in my life.

I think this is a great idea. I pray anytime I need to, sometimes just to thank God. You must have had good parents.

My mother never failed to teach us to pray before going to bed and specially in the morning when we woke up. But the best thing that I learn from my mother is that we must pray not for ourselves but to pray for other peoples' welfare. How about that?

hi,some how the science effect is more on me since childhood.so when i try to pray god,i get somany logic questions...so i never pray and i admitt the control of nature...which is true..real..worth trust..proven and defined by somany scientists.....

no, i seldom communicate with god for whatever reasons. please dont take me personally, but you see i live in India and am a Hindu by faith. every morning countless Hindu families have this prayer (puja) session where the entire family sits and prays together. then they all go out to cheat, misbehave, rob, lie and make a fast buck by tricking other gullible people. you see, no matter how much you pray, nobody is up there to force you to become a better person. its meaningless to ask for forgiveness when you know you'd do the same thing tomorrow again (again, PLEASE DONT TAKE ME PERSONALLY, THIS IS MY GENERAL OPINION). i believe all religion should guide you to become a better human being and for that you dont need to pray everyday. you can of course meditate to calm your mind, and praying and meditation are not the same.

Yes When i wake up i pray 2 God that thank U for giving me such a beautiful and wonder full life Parents friends and i pray 2 all of people whome i didnt know.

yes i do pray to god and say him thanx for showing me another day and bringing joy to my life... i am not religious .. this is normally when i get up in the morning..basically i thank my parents for everything coz they brought me to this world..so they are my god first..

yes i do pray to God when i get up in the morning!i really feel comfort after the prayer...being a Muslim i believe that "Comfort of your eyes lies in the prayer"...so we pray five times a day that helps us a lot in our daily life ,it also helps us keeping ourselever away from the evil doings and sins!

Most of the people of this world are too busy that they didn't got time fror their own families.They have only one intension to make as money as they could to fulfil their necessaries and to survive.Among them i'm the one also,i didn't pray to god as you do when wake up in the morning but i do when i get some troubel in mine life and mine beloving and just pray to god to show me way to solve that problem and to make me free out of that and to them most of the people does that as i do in mine life.Also thanks to god at mine happy time of mine life nad mine beloving but not regularly.

I actually pray everynight before i go to bed and thank the lord for one more day he has allowed me to live, i pray that nothing happens to my loved ones and my daughter i don't know what i would do with myself if anything happened to her, GOD IS GOOD

i admit it's not as often that i pray everytime i wake up in the morning, but i do pray every night thanking Him for the day that had been, and asking for his guidance the next day. Not only that, I'm trying to be as grateful to Him as possible by saying thanks, even with the smallest blessing that I get everyday. It's the simplest way I know that I can bring back the blessings that I get from God.

God is something above all and everything to me , i do make it a point to pray in the morning and at the night , i have a special regimen for this , without praying feel not so good about life and why not , some thing that gives you everything , every breath we take is due to hum , i think we can take out one hour from our busy schedules for the almighty , to thank him , to remember him ,

hi! jaizdeep - i sincerely pray God while going to sleep and also after waking yp from bed in the morning. besides that also i used to chant his name throught out the day . i beleive in god and in faith with god. i thanked him many times . and always perfoming my rituals for the execuse of my sins. i pray not for my selfish wants . i always pray for the entire universe. I beleive in God.As a habbit i pray to god for few minutes when i get up from bed.As soon as i take bath i do for more time.This is how i am taught by parents since childhood.I feel good when ever i offer prayers my mind gets so relaxed and the whole day goes well and great.

i use to pray that dua....my mother taught me......it is a dua from Muhammed(s) to all people in the world......to GOd all praise and thanks who bring life to me after dying for a small time.....

I have learnt and cultivated in last two years, to pray to God.
