I want a baby???

I have been thinking about having a child and when finally we started trying... i went to the dr and they stated that i couldn't have children. I would like to have my own... does anyone know if there is anyway to do so... if not what are some options.

Ok, they have stated you couldn't have children, but first of all it would be important to know the cause of this, then if it's temporary or permanent, reversible or irreversibile, curable or uncurable.

I have no idea. they indicated that there are asists on the ovaries that are smuthering the babies developing area. I have no idea what that mean and i aske dbut he didn't giveme much of a reponse. I think that the dr wanted me diagnosed and then thrown to the wolves!

ok, simple ovarian cysts are not a cause of infertility, instead the so called PCOS (policystic ovary syndrome) is. This is diagnosed through a series of blood and ormonal tests plus ultrasound.

We are not more knowledgeable than a doctor. I know baby do not grown inside overy, overy is for helping to hold sperm and to have a baby after it get sperm on it. God bless you - I think do not dishearted try everyday and within first 14 days after your period is most fertile time and chance to be pregnant. You may take test tube baby if at all fail.

Im so sorry about this news. But how many tests did the doctor run??? How did he determine cause of the cysts that you cannot have kids? My suggested is to find an infertility speacialist and talk to them. They will be able to run more indepth tests to make sure that you cannot have kids on your own, and then they can be able to determine, if your body is able enough to carry a child fullterm and then maybe try IVF, or something else. Good luck and i hope you do get pregnant and when that say comes a happy and healthy nine months to you

He didn't run very many tests. Pee test, blood test and ultrasound. They just stated at this time i can't have kids and they didn't know when i should be able to. I am not a dr so i have no idea. Thank you for the suggestions

After reading the other responces I feel you need a second opinion from a second doctor. A simple cyst on your overy should not cause infertility. You need to go into this second doctor's visit with questions and a pad of paper to take notes. There are loads of option you have but we need to know what the cause of the infertility is before giving any more advise that may not be applicable.

I have made a appointment but it is not until next month. :( I hope it come to a different conclusion instead of hurting myself b/c i think that i can't have kids (not hurting in a bad way i mean sadness and depression). That you for the suggestions!
