I think any dog breed is dangerous in the hands of the wrong owner. You can train anything to be deadly. I think Pitt Bulls, Dobermans and rottweilers have the most potential to become dangerous because of their instinct and power, but it is all in the hands of the handler. You have to teach them to be good, and obey you at all times. If a dog is ever aggresive to a human this is not natural and has been taught.

I have very mixed feelings on this topic. Here in Canada they are have a pitbull ban. You can keep a bitbull if you already have one but you can't breed anymore. There does seem to be a lot of instances with pitbulls so it does make you wonder BUT we have also heard those stories of Rottweilers. We adopted a Rottie about 7 years ago and he is just a sweetheart and wouldn't hurt a fly. So as you can see I have mixed views.

Some dogs are more likely to be dangerous (pit bulls, german shepards, rots) but that doesn't mean that they have to be dangerous. If you have apit bull and you raise it to be a cuddly nice sweet dog, then it is not going to be a dangerous dog to own. But, if you take a lab (or another mellow dog) and teach it to be mean and how to fight and all that, then you will ahev a dangerous dog.

From what i hear its between the pit bull, german shepard, chow chow and rotweiler.Personally I am afraid of all four , based on what Ive heard. But I also know from reading about them if each breed is raised in a good home with a caring, experienced owner they can be as good as any other dog. From what I hear they are just strong willed, strong dogs and irresponsible owners, breeders and etc is the main problem. But i do think I heard that pit bulls are banned in states like florida, Im not sure but this is what i Heard.SO they may be considered the most aggressive.

Oh BTW , a pit bull killed a 2 yr old here in atlanta a few weeks ago, but again i dont know the details or if the owner was responsible with the dog and etc, I do know the dog was kept on a chain all its life which i hear is bad for all dogs and can lead to aggression, and as i said before in another post, most people here buy them based on their rep.most are young boys, who could care less about the dog, they just want the image and this could also help the dogs have a bad rep.

I don't know the statistics everywhere, but I can tell you that 95% of all dog bites in the state of Texas are by Chow and Chow mixes. Most people do not even know how to treat a pit bull. They get them because they look big and bad, but that isn't how they really are. In nationwide temperament testing the American Pit Bull Terrier scored better than the Beagle, the Golden Retriever, and even our beloved Lassie, Collie.
Reports that a pit bull attacks someone are also often false identification. There are at least 20 breeds that could be mistaken for a pit bull, but the bullie breeds have gotten such a bad rap they get the blame. The pit bull suffers more abuse than any other breed in the United States. Which is really sad considering they use to be the all american dog. Buster Brown's dog was a pit, the adorable dog from Little Rascals was a pit, and the first dog to be decorated as a war hero, pit!
It's truly sad when you realize that we have taken a breed that was so much a part o our life and country and turned it into a monster for our own sick twisted gain and entertainment. Which brings me back to my other discussion about my Pit Bull Rescue. Hope some of you will take a look!

It all depends on how they are raised. Some breeds are unreliable too, like the pitbulls. Too many stories where they have turned on their owners.
I wouldn't be able to say a specific breed is the most dangerous but pitbulls is certainly in the top 3.
