"Higher Power" Exists or Not?

Dear all friends in Mylot, I have been experiencing a kind of Supernatural journey. Last month, one of my colleague in the company (New Jersey-USA), asked me to go with her to Subud House in West Philadelphia (Later on i know the name of the community is from www.subud.com. After arriving there, i was introduced to some of her friends, and she entered one of the big room, staying there with around 10 persons inside. I was left lonely in the waiting room. From the silence, i heard somebody crying, while the other laughing, singing, runnning around and other noises. Unconsciously, I felt my head empty and like daydreaming, my mind flying somewhere in the sky. It's around 10-20 seconds and then i was conscious again. After my colleague finish doing her activity, she asked me back home. I started to ask many thing about the strange things happened inside the room and inside my head. She didn't explain a lot but just mention that there is some detail info in www.subud.com. After coming back home I searched the web, and i found out that what had happened inside the room was a kind of getting "Higher Power". But i couldn't get enough answer from that web why i am outside the room, felt influenced by that power. I also searched some info from the web, that maybe it was related with the power of hypnotism. I couldn't find the satisfying answer either. Knowing the fact that subud has more 10.000 members all over the world, is it true that it is a kind of "Real Higher Energy" that they are getting, during the exercise inside the room? What do they really mean with that "Higher Energy?" Does it exist? Why do they not let me in, so that i can know what is happening there? And those questions remain unanswered until now.
