Well, anyone who sells on ebay, looks like they're jacking up the prices again to sell stuff. They just raised them in July too. Here's the new fees starting January 30th if you haven't read the email yet:
Insertion fee
Starting price-$1.00 - $9.99 New Fee-$0.40 Old Fee-$0.35
Final Value Fee-$25.01 - $1000.00 New Fee- 3.25% Old Fee-3%
They also raised them for ebay motors for anyone selling there. I guess I'll be closing my store up sooner then I thought and moving everything to Yahoo. Getting too expensive for me, can't compete!

Yahoo doesn't exist, and was run by Ebay. I too am sick of the raises there. I sell on Ebay. Good luck my friend.

You are so right!!! I messaged you about the yahoo thing, according to them, it's not true. But, that could always change. Who knows!! Think I told you to look into Live Deal right? Same situation though, not much traffic there, but I did have more lookers then at yahoo.

I know it really is. And you know what else is frustrating, everything now they want degrees or special certificates/licenses that take 1-2 years to get. But not that long ago, it was on the job training-the best way in my opinion. I won't mention any "professions" like that, but I know 1 in particular shouldn't take that long. It's all about $$$.

Yeah, you're right ebay does have the market on that. I have a yahoo auctions store as well, and I don't get anywhere near the traffic I do on ebay. But, yahoo is free, at least for now anyway. I can just leave the stuff on there and not worry if I'm selling enough to cover the costs of running it :) I think ebay's going to be turning away a lot of sellers with this fee hike, someday they'll get competition lol.

I don't sell on ebay I was a shopper. "was". The cost of shipping made the over all price so high it wasn't worth it to me. I wondered how that affected the sellers. Good luck to you all and I will browse the yahoo site for some deals.
