Has any one see the preview video on abc.com http://abc.go.com/primetime/lost/index Who is Jack kissing??? Why can't ABC have a regular season of Lost instead of this funky, break in the middle.

ABC thought they would split it up, so that they could place it against American Idol in the Spring, but decided too late that it would be a bad idea. Now all of us fans have had to wait what seems like years for new episodes, and it makes me miss the show even more! I have seen the previews, and I am excited as ever for the show to get started back up, but they better never try one of these breaks again if they want to keep me around!

Honestly I am not sure if putting it up against American Idol is the best idea, just means that people are going to be switching back and forth between the two shows.

Well, I think one big break is better then having a million during the season. There was so many breaks the last two seasons that I think it was even more nerve racking.

I do not mind the normal breaks that the rest of the shows have, I guess I am just confused why they can not be like all the others series. You never saw Friends or Seinfeild take this many breaks or have all of the reruns. I just don't think it is right.

I grew frustrated with Lost last season and stopped watching it altogether, for the same reason you mentioned. It seemed like every other week was a show from season 1. It didn't make any sense. Now I haven't kept up with it. Maybe I'll rent the DVDs and catch up, that way I can avoid the commercials too.

I grew frustrated last season also, I actually wrote a letter to ABC about it and they stated that it take longer to shot each episode because of the location and said they would resolve it this season. I guess their resolution was taking a break in the middle of the season. I just don't think that we are getting the 26 episodes that most regular prime time shows are getting.

I have seen a few of the previews already on the tv. I don't care for the break either. It seems to long for me. I hope that it is going to be good and not disappoint.

I'm also very anxious to see the new shows. I love the flashbacks that they use, except if I miss an episode, I could have missed something important! I really miss it and can't wait for it to be back on again. I just wish they'd tie up some lose ends. There are so many stories going on now. I think they need to finish some of the ongoing stories before they start any more. It's getting harder to keep track of everyone! I'm hoping for an action packed show for the first one!

Jack is kissing the girl who made his tattoos in Thailand. It's in a flashback.

See now that is what I was thinking but I wasn't sure. Thank you, it is funny how a show can just take over a life like lost has.

yes interesting previews in the abc web site...you know if you think you kind a know what will happen in all the 16 episodes..... jack with the chinese girl, jack in the cage, kate, sawyer escaping, etc.....it's funny, also dramatic that they focused only on the 4 members kept by the others........what happened in the mean while with the others survivors? just the "look above"[or how is the original thing......

16 in row is not bad, how much did we had before already, 6 episodes, right? And yes it's in a flashback, it's not Kate :)

I am sick of there breaks myself. I am so hooked on that show though and look-forward to watching it every Wednesday night. I think the reason they take breaks is that it takes them along time to make the shows. Lets face it, it's not your normal show. It's very action packed and mysterious and keeps you hanging until the next episode. Lost is my all time favorite show ever played on TV. I hate the brakes but I will continue to watch the show. I just hope it says on air for a longtime. It seems every-time there's a good show out they take it off the air. I really hope this one stays for a very longtime. And I can't wait for February 7th to come. It's the highlight of my night! I have a feeling it's only going o get better and better. I just can't imagine being the writer that has to keep the show going. I would rather have a break than reruns. That was very frustrating when I was so anxious to watch Lost and it was a rerun.

I too agree with the rest of the responders, I would rather have this long break in the middle rather than last season. All I have to say is I hope that there are 16 episodes in a row. They film in Hawaii, how hard is it to get the filming done, every other shows can do it. Tell their cast members to stop drinking and driving.
