Bytemi I posed the question to see if I was overreacting, kids get hurt we both know that and as usual I am trying to walk that fine line and not cross it (the one where I go off because of something her father did or didn't do).

Bytemi Thank you for you comments, I appreciate what you are saying and I did speak to my husband who was unaware of what he had said. He is a lot more concious now and careful about what he says.

My daughter has decided that she wants a surprise party this year for her birthday. Does anyone have any ideas of what would be a good surprise party for a 6 year old?

Bytemi No she wants the whole thing to be a surprise. New Years Eve baby we don't have her party on her birthday, so it gives us room. Her friends have done Chucky Cheese, Build a Bear, Gymnastics and Tae Kwon Do. Having a hard time figuring it out.

Bytemi My husband travels overseas a lot also, which is why this weekend was great. He had to be gone for work, but we were able to have time together it was just nice to be with him and leave life behind us.
