My mum wrote a love story , someday I will try and get it published for her . I have written quite a few poems ( some I have posted on MY Lot ) I love to write them . I would suggest something you have done in your life and write about it , or your family xx

Any kind of writing is a good hobby. Start with an idea or a character in mind, and go from there. I don't believe you should try and fit in with the current trends - they might be obsolete by the time your book is finished anyway.
Write what you truly love - keep at it, and you won't go far wrong. Good luck!

I would never write anything just because it is a trend. You have to write from your heart. You have to know it and feel it. It is like painting. You have to be creative. No one can tell you what you want to write about.

Writing is a healthy habit. I love to write an also have pondered the idea of writing a novel. I have some ideas and would love to get a book published. I too have ran into many roadblocks with choosing a title and plot. But the wierd thing is, I get most of my ideas and a clear mind when I am frustrated with someone or something. I can write for hours when I am upset. Strange huh.
