themooster Yes you can join if you're in the UK. I live in England and have sold lots of work on this site. Some articles are on there for ages before they sell, but others have sold within minutes! It's a great place to sell your work, but get yourself familiarised...

themooster Helium doesn't edit your articles. They go live as soon as you write them. The only time that's different is when you create a new topic, then they review it and they might ask you to edit it, but they don't change it themselves.

themooster I agree - Helium takes a while to get going, but once it does, it's worth it! I've just had my second payout and it was far easier to reach than it was the first time.

Help! How do you get bolognese stains out of a cotton duvet cover?

I knew it would happen. Clumsy old me dropped her spaghetti bolognese on the duvet cover. It's 100% cotton, and cream in colour. I've washed it on a hot wash straightaway, but it's still stained. Any ideas? I can't be the first...

themooster Thanks for your response. I ended up trying Stain Devils No.5, which gets out cooking oils and sauces, among others. I've just soaked it and it's completely vanished. I am so happy! lol So just for future reference, Stain Devils rule!

themooster Pocket money and information, I think. I've found that by searching for topics of interest I can gain a lot of new information, especially about online writing, which I do myself. I've found a lot of new sites this way, and I share the ones I've found too.

What's the biggest number of referrals you've got? Active or otherwise?

themooster You could try writing free articles for article directories, putting your referral link at the bottom. This will create lots of free traffic to your Mylot link, and may sign up some new referrals...

themooster Yes I write there, and I have been paid once so far; getting towards it again now too. The trick is to write regularly, and if you start a new topic you will get paid double every time your question/answer is viewed. Pick popular categories, and over time...
