shoes and cats

Our female cats leaves her toys for us to find. Neither bothers our shoese unless we have just come from somewhere new and they are smelling our shoes.

I had a cat that liked to sleep with her head in shoes. Also when she had kittens she would steal food and bring it home to feed her babies. She would go in neighbors back yards and steal food that they were cooking on the grill, I can't imagine what they thought when they discovered their food was gone. She came home with chicken, steaks, stuff like that. She would also bring birds and mice home for her babies.

I have a playful kitty named Brock, he has a basket full of toys that he's constantly scattering all over the house. A couple of times I have found some sponge balls in my shoe..but that didn't touch my heart the way the following did! Once when I was gonna be away for a while, I had started packing my bag a few days in advance so I didn't have to do it all at once. Anyways, when I was on my trip, I discovered one of his toys sitting in my suitcase! It touched my heart because it was like a little message from him, hehe :)

My cat doesn't leave things in my shoes. She does sleep in the empty shoe boxes though lol. I have to move her so I could put my shoes away.

Mine do this too, I have to be very careful to check for 'presents' in my boots before I put them on. THe cats like to nibble toes as well, must be something about the smell of feet (not stinky feet, just normal feet smells) that they find fascinating.

My cat leaves my shoes alone. But she often brings me her toys so we can play fetch :)
