For all the winter season lovers, how would you feel if you had snow this winter

Do you love having snow or do you hate it? What do you enjoy about the snow or what do you dislike it? Usually this winter where I live we have had a least a flurry here and then if not a small storm at the least. But so far it has been more like spring weather and makes me wonder if we will have any snow at all this winter? I like snow but not in big quantities.

I love the snow!!!! And I really love it in large amounts! I am grateful that we did get one snow this year early in the season, so it was not really expected. It was nice. I love playing in the snow ith my kids. We played and played! We played snow baseball. but of course, no one could catch it because the snowball would shatter. That is what made it fun because it would either go all over the batter or it would shower onto someone else standing by. ha ha We also make snowmen. Which is a blast because we all pitch in to make a really big snowman. :) And it makes everything look pretty. Like glitter has been sprinkled all around when the sun hits it just the right way. :) I love the snow. But one snow is all we have gotten and now it also feels like spring here. The poor plants are not sure if they should bud or not. :(

Snow is very beautiful to look at and play in and do things with the family. I still like making snow angels in my backyard. LOL I don't really care for the shoveling and of coure what happened in Colorado yesterday was scary for sure.

I don't like snow at all. Makes it to cold out and I hate to shovel. I don't like driving in it either. I am just loving this weather. My heat bill is down and I don't have to wear all the winter stuff like gloves, hats, boots. (I don't anyway). I know alot of people are made because they want to snowmobile but it doesn't bother me at all. I hope all our winters stay this way.

Not everyone likes snow which is okay. I do not like the shoveling either and driving can be difficult at times, especially with the crazy people driving around out there like it is nothing.

I love the snow but it doesn't look like we will be getting much of it. It was 60 degrees today where I live and that is about 30 degrees above normal. They are calling for snow next week but nothing major. I just like the look of snow. I think it is pretty. In my younger days I would build snow forts with the kids or have a snowball fight. I was never very good at making snowmen.

Snow is very pretty to look at and play in but a pain to shovel at times. We are above normal temperatures too and no snow in sight for my area. Not even flurries are forecasted. I am amazed by our weather here.

Unfortunately St. Louis hasn't had much sno w this season. We had a rather unpleasant ice storm but that's no fun; half a million people without power for days. No White Christmas this year. I want snow! Maybe I should move to Denver. Also, don't you hate it when it snows at night and you can't see the beautiful snowflakes?

That is nice that you love the snow and I guess you are living in the right place. I must be in the wrong place. I actually meant in the topic how a person would feel if they did not have snow this winter but I missed the no word. :-) I have been curious about trying snowboarding myself. It looks and sounds like fun. Thanks for replying.

I like snow, but where we live now, it doesn't happen very often. I have not seen any snow the whole time we have lived here which will be 3 years next month. Mostly I enjoy just watching it fall and gather on the ground. When I was a child, I used to love going out and playing in it, but not anymore. LOL

As far as I am concerned the snow can stay away. I live in Northern Ohio and so far we have only had a few flurries, thats fine by me. I hate to drive in it, I hate to shovel it.

If I don't have to go out in the snow, I would love it so much. We never get snow or rain where I live. I miss it. I love the very cold weather. It is always hot here. So, my answer is that I love snow and want it.

I would love to have snow right now but it has not been cold enough this winter and hope that we do get some snow, especially if it means I get an extra day off from work.

We don't get snow where I live. But, I know what it is, and I love it. I like the cold weather, and the beauty of the snow when it is coming down and settling. As long as one doesn't have to go out in it, as driving is dangerous. So, if you get some, I'll make a trade with you. Send your snow here, and I will send you all the sunshine you want. :)

I would like to see some snow here, especially a big storm so I could have an extra day off from work or two. LOL I will try and send some snow your way but it looks like we will not get any this winter the way things are going right now with our weather.

Yeah, I agree a little snow is good, but when I can't go out because it's snowing too hard, now that's where I draw the line. I doubt we'll have alot of snow this year either.

I don't think that I would like it too much. I hate the cold but I do like to snuggle up by a fire place with my hubby. I guesse it would give you a good reason to call in sick to work

I absolutely adore the snow, and although we haven't had any yet, forecasts say we're going to get loads and loads as from the middle of next week:-) I've loved it since I was a little kid - just watching it falling - everything goes so quiet and peaceful somehow and it's beautiful to look at. My garden transforms into a kind of "wonderland" - all clean and sparkling, - and I love to watch my cats playing with the snowflakes. Can't wait for next week - and hope the forecasters are rght!

We have snow! When it is snowing outside, that usually means it is warmer. The clouds help hold in the heat. When it is clear, granted it is beautiful outside with all the glistening on the snow, but boy does it get cold! And it is cold today!!!

Snow is rapidly becoming a thing of the past that old men like me sit around and tell people about with stories such as "When I was a boy..." etcetera. I must confess that I do miss the lovely white scenes that I remember from years gone by. Snow can be a problem and often disrupted transport and make walking quite difficult, but you never realise fully how pleasant it can be until the winter appears but snow does not. I hated the aftermath of snow, when all that was left was slush and slivers of ice, so at least I can avoid that now.

well ... I'm from Romania. Christmas is gone and New Years Eve to. They were both without any snow :-( so I don't see the use of it now. It was to bad, the holidays are much more better when we also have snow. Yes ... I am a snow lover

I do have snow and have not had many winters where I live where there was no snow or little of it. Do I like it yes and no, When clean, fresh and new fallen yes, and yes because it helps with water resources and from drought. No because it is treacherous and slick and icy and cold and brings danger and illness and sometimes electrical outages.

Well I live in Canada and we usually get our share but the last few years have been crazy. I know last year in the end of January I was moving and it was so mild and spring like outside it was crazy. This year we didn't have any snow on Christmas which felt strange. It has been so mild out that the kids have brought their bikes back up from the basement and have been riding around all week. I guess with Global warming we have to get use to this. It is kinda sad though. My ex loves snowmobiling and we just aren't getting the snow. We have had one storm so far. On Dec 8th we woke up to a few feet of snow. Everything and I mean everything was closed. Didn't even have the city busses running. The kids were all home from school and freaking out cause they had never seen that much snow but unfortunately it only lasted 2 or 3 days and then it all melted away.

I love the snow. My kids and I look forward to it snowing every year, we love to go out snowboarding, snow skiing, and just taking the tubes down the hills. The ground where I live right now is covered with snow and I am enjoying it. Not only is there so much to do in it but it is beautiful to look at. Even my cat loves it. She will beg to go out so that she can roll in it.
