I have been a part-time nanny for a 3 1/2 year old girl for 1 1/2 years. I do that job 3 days a week and I am an admin assistant the other 2 days. The other day, my boss from my 2-day a week company said that he wants to offer me a full-time job. I want to accept because I will make more money and I will be able to get more professional experience. My dilemma is how I tell the parents of the girl and how long should I stay there until I tell them I have to go? Should I wait till they find someone else? They just started having me take the girl to some dance classes through the week and I am afraid that if I quit, they won't find someone else who can do this... I am so confused what to do!!!!

That sounds like a very tough situation for someone to be in but can understand your concern and that is great that you think of the family and the girl like that. I think if you tell them and are honest, that they would understand and would want you to do what is best for you. It might be tough on them at first but I am sure they would be able to find someone. You have to do what is best for you because these types of jobs do not come around all that often.
