I live in India an I have had many people say that they have been cured of cancer by their faith. My mom too is a cancer survivor and she also displays a lot of faith, which gives her the courage to go through the chemo and the diagnosis itself. So, yes I would have to say that I do believe that faith can establish a state of mind that is conduicive to healing and even curing cancer. And its commonly said in India that those who are optimistic or those who want to survive the disease badly tend to live longer. I hope that answers your question

Yes, prayer can help a lot. However, the patient has to be positive about it as well and not dwell on it. Also, the cancer patient should not spend time on worrying about their problem, but they should go out and help others, and in return, they will see great things happening when they plant the seed and help others.
