since supposively landing there in the last 60's we've yet to go back, isn't NASA or anyone curious to see if Neal Armstrong's footstep, or the flag, or even the landrover they left are still there and what shape they may be in, I know I'D like an update, I mean geez its been 30 years. Shouldn't we have a colony there by now or something?

I think the thrill is gone. It was all about getting there and they got that, so it's all over now.

maybe the thrill for them is gone but many of the world population wants proof and they can provide it, did they actually land on the moon or was it an ellaborate hoax like War Of The Worlds? A shot of the rover on the moon could settle many minds, solid proof they did as they said they did, in fact they wouldn't have to go there again just give us a shot a picture as proof they weren't lying, it'd help their credibility greatly and we deserve a lil sign of faith. In fact they owe it to us and our tax dollars to satisfy OUR wants not theirs... just my opinion though lol

Isn't there some sort of passenger flight to the moon planned for like 2010 or something? Well, that could still be hoaxed I suppose. But even if we get a picture of the landrover, that wouldn't be real proof either because there are places on Earth which are supposed to have surfaces similar to the Moon so it would be easy enough to put a clapped out landrover in a desert, take a picture and say it was the moon.

true, unfortunately yeah, they could fake it again if they faked it the first time :(

I was curious about that too. I asked my husband about it and he believes NASA and them lost interest in it. Basically because it was a race to see who could get there first, and we did. Everyone is now interested in Mars so they'll forget about the moon.

I,myself am curious about that. They keep saying we're ruining the Earth and talking global warming, over population etc.So if we can get to the moon why not colonize it and start building so we'll have a place to go? We keep sending shuttles to the orbiting space station, why not beyond? There are those who say we never went in the first place,it was all faked.Perhaps so.I always wondered why they left all that equipment. It fit in the ship going up why not down? So many unanswered questions.Perhaps someday we'll know the answers.
