How did you start playing final fantasy?

My final fantasy experience started when I went to my cousins and saw him playing final fantasy. He was playing 7 cause it just came out. When he beat it, he let me borrow it. I played it straight through and was addicted from then on. If you havent tried final fantasy, you might as well try it. It is awesome.

My nerd friend always talk about FF VII and he want me to listen to him too. After a week, I started to interested in FF. I search for that game and buy PS1. Then I stuck with this game in every Part, 7 - 10.

I started playing Final Fantasy when I saw FF8 in the gamestore. My brothers and I were looking for good games during that time and so I bought the game. After finishing FF8, I thought that there must be other Final Fantasy series so I searched for them. I have played 5 & 6 then. I never get to play FF7 but I've watched my best friend play the game.^_^ Then there was FF9, the last one for PSone, I think. I don't play the series anymore but I still keep intact with the stories of the next Final Fantasy series. Hmmm.. FF8 has the best romantic story for me and I love the song Eyes on Me so much. The FF7 has the best plot, and the movie was so great...^_^ I love Advent Children, and Vincent Valentine!!^_^

I cant really remeber. I think it was when i used to go visit my nan and she would give us money to get what we want. And well i think i just bought FF7 becuase it looked kinda cool. Then i played it and though it was awesome. But it wasnt till like 2-3 years later that i actually go into the rest of the seris and started collecting them. Now I own every single one that has come out in the UK :P

I'm actually a late bloomer in playing the Final Fantasy series. My boyfriend of 3 years introduced me to it, and right now I'm playing FFVII in the PSP. And I'm loving it! :D

Like 5 of my friends just started getting into them, and I tried it out. I'm glad to say that I wasn't dissapointed :P

The first Final Fantasy I played was Final Fantasy 7. Then I played Final Fantasy Tactics. Found it interesting, I started looking and played Final Fantasy 4, Final Fantasy 5 and Final Fantasy 6. After that Final Fantasy 8 came out and I played it. Then continued to play Final Fantasy 9, the end of PS version of Final Fantasy. I wait a while until I bought a PS2, then I played Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2. I don't have the opportunity to play Final Fantasy 11: Online, and it disappoints me. I played Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9 and Tactics more than twice. I really hate it when they announced Final Fantasy 13 is gonna be an MMORPG. It should have been an RPG, not an MMORPG.

I got started with Final Fantasy years ago. The first FF game I played was FF2 and I loved it. It was still on the SNES then. Eversince, I loved Final Fantasy. =) They are so well created and the plots are always enthralling. =)

I would say that one day I was at my friends house and in a room full of junk the trown Cd cought my eye and I was bored and I asked him if I could borrow it and started playing and got addicted!! sadly that time he only had disc one and the other 2 was lost somewer so I decided to go buy the 3 cds and played and enjoyed it. Until today its the best game I ever played.

oh god, i remember that scene. ff8 had the second best story of any final fantasy. my fantasy started in 1998, when i got my first ps1. i also got final fantasy 7 along with it, not knowing what it was. in fact, i didnt know how to start a new game right away b/c of the use of the O button instead of the X. it took me a lil bit to get onto it, only being 8 years old. but once i finally beat that freakin safer sephiroth, i was in awe at the pure greatness i had just gone thru. its bin that way with every final fantasy since then. i understand the story a bit easier now, but its just...each is great is its own way. final fantasy has its own catagory of greatness.

I've never played at this game, I dont really like it.

i start playing final fantasy series when i was 10 years old like that. I still remember that the CG movie in ff7 really amazed me until i couldn't speak out. For me ff12 is the best because the game playing is the most smooth one without any loading time.

Great discussion! I started playing Final Fantasy VII on Playstation when I was in holidays, at a house my parents rented near the beach. I had no friends there, except one cousin of mine, and we spent all day (when we weren't on the beach) at the "rented" house of each other. He showed my Final Fantasy VII, a game he was starting to play, although it was in English and we didn't understand much of it (I was 10 and he was 11, and he has just started learning English at school). We realized (somehow, must be the magic of the game) that we had a game worth of playing with all our dedication. I used to watch him play, while I had a English to Portuguese dictionary and I translated (roughly) the meaning of the game speech. That's how I started to learn English! When he finished playing the first CD he gave it to me (that's the magic of PSX Final Fantasy games!) so I could play all by myself. Since that time I'm an avid player of Final Fantasy (and Kingdom Hearts) series. It also led me to reading "seriously" (I started by reading fantasy, like Lord of the Rings), programming (I wanted to be a game programmer), writing (I would love to write books or film/game scripts) and music composition ( by hearing works from Nobuo Uematsu, of course).

the way i found out about it at first was thought My friend that was play 9, then I started to play and when i found out that it started from ff1, I becames a ff freak and just started to play all of the final fantasy game at the same time. and now I with yell it from every mountain top "I love Final fantasy baby, yea!"

My brother was looking for a good PSX game to play, and a friend of his suggested that he give FF7 a try. He did so, and I watched him play it, and I ended up liking it. Though FF8 was the first final fantasy I really played.

i started playing FF6 when i was in high school... i really enjoyed it and it was also the first RPG that i played... after that, FF7 was released and man! it was sooooo cool and sooooo good that it became my MOST favorite RPG until now... after that i played the FF8 and FFTactics... then on Nov 2003, i went to japan to work at Canon and so i was able to play FF9 and FFX and FF11 and FFX2... becoz of these games, i ended up buying the whole series from FF1... the Whole series! including japanese versions, US versions, international versions and limited edition versions... i also have collections of the games' character models which i bought in japan. expensive though...

When I was 10 I have a NES and I rented it at the video store. I ended up getting totally lost but I loved it.

i started to play FF when i was in the 6th grade. my bestfriend brought a walkthrough of FF8 to school and it made me curious. i just got my PS1 then... when i came home i immediately went to the game shop and bought myself a copy of FF8... i didn't think i'd be so addicted to it though.=)
