Always look at the bright side of life, there is so much gloom and misery in our lives today so that it is always best to look at the bright side of life and to try and stay positive what are you thoughts about this and how can we accomplish this?? I try to believe that things will work out and that tomorrow is around the corner and so whatever happens that I have to go through the negetative things in my life to appreciate the better things that come my way. Please do not just write yes/no but give me your thoughts as I always rate the best response.

I'll be praying that it is, Gabs.
You are a warm, friendly person, and I believe that you will soon pull through, simply because you won't allow things to get you down.
Keep looking UP: there's only dirt under your feet!

Hi Kathy, I always try and look on the brighter side and always believe there is a 'reason' why bad things happen to us. I know it's hard, but if you didn't go through hard times in life, then there would be nothing to compare it to the good times. The hard times make us who we are, stronger and wiser individuals. I'm a great believer in positive thought and it's got me through the worse of times.

Yaa we should always look at the bright side of life as it will induce in us a positive feeling and attitude. This will also motivate you in your work or to do some work. It will keep your mind happy. The better way is to be optimistic in life and always smile. Think of the events that used to make up happy.

i think we all know that it is always good to have a positive attituded towards life and everyone tries their best to fight back the difficult situations they face in life, but sometimes the circumstances are such in life that we are easily swayed away and we see no rays of hope.

I think its better that way just look on the bright side of life in whatever happenings in your life may it be sad or about joy just think that everything you experienced in life has its own purpose and if ever there are times you have problems think that God just gave it to you because he wants you to be strong enough to face trials. And he believes in you that you can handle it and solve your problem.

whether one can look at the bright side of life depends on the character of the person. i am a person not so optimistic.most things i see are gloom and misery in my life.so i am not so happy.

There is alway's a light at the end of the tunnel isn't it? so, whatever happens, you haveto keep yourself ready and hopefull and work hard believing in yourself and this will create wonders for you.Main thing in life is self belief and you should learn to believe in yourself first and then move on to success with more optimistic way and little more hard work.....you are sure to succeed here..

Its alaways best to look on the bright side of life. You certainly get on more in love, work and happiness if you are as positive as yuo can be about life. Things will come your way that are bound to get you down but dwelling on it, looking for someone to blame and portraying bitterness gets you nowhere. It brings you and everyone around you down.

I am a worry wart. I get myself all worked up over something that I have no control over. I am slowly learning to let some of that go. It is very hard to keep pushing forward just to get through a day sometimes. I know I have to do that because if I give up, my family would be the ones who will suffer. I will not do that to them. My mother is always telling me to give to God. I have but the old worry wart habit is hard to break.

here's why:
1. if it's too bad to be true, it's not true.
2. if it's too good to be true, it's not true.

optimism would not be as helpful and as healthful as one may think. there are certain drawback that are to be faced head-on. we cannot deny reality.

We should always try to look at the brighter side of things happening in our life. One should take out positives from everything that happens, and try to learn from it. Learning is very important, as many of us tend to forget where we went wrong in what we did, which ultimately was the source of misery and gloom. In trying to look only at the positive aspects, one sometimes tends to overlook the real reason behind it all. One should learn, and that is the only word that can be used to describe it. Once we start taking out positives from whatever that happens in our lives, our life moves into a new dimension and we start remaining happy and spread mirth and ambience everywhere we go. The attitude towards life should be such that we do not bog down and keep whining over our mistakes and miseries, on the other hand, we try to look at the positive side, and carry on with our lives. We all will achieve unbound success that way. God bless you all.

Hi Kathy, I'm Cathie too! Many years ago I began reading Edgar Cayce materials, including his psychic "readings" and Edgar Cayce said "The Mind is the Builder..." and I agree. Another saying is "As you think, so you become". I don't know the author of that one. There is a mind/body connection with a physiologic response to every possible emotion. I believe it. I make specific goals and sharpen my mind like an arrow and have a single focus to accomplish my goal. I make my goals with the Highest Good always in mind. Then stick to it. There's all kinds of tricks to staying on track.

Whenever I am feeling down I tell myself that tomorrow is another day. If people would just take time to breathe, think, wait, they would see that there it gets better. Sometimes just taking a deep breath is all that is needed. Take a walk, do a project, read a book, do something to take your mind off your worries. Tomorrow is another day.

Each and everyone of us hits ebb-tides in life, but it is your choice whether you want to stay in that place, or not.
Find the positive message in each negative experience. There always is one!
Finding this positive lesson will open your world again, so that you can create new focus.
By letting go of your negative ideas of your internal struggles you find new inspiration.
Get up and get back on track! Keep a positive goal ahead of you in all your endeavours and challenge yourself to see difficult situations as opportunities, instead of allowing them to bring you down.
I hope this post is of value to everyone and I really hope it provided us with some new insights.

i am a positive person always looking on a bright side because i believe if we dont get what we expect there is reason and purpose for it, we just learn how to accept, see where did we get wrong, learn from it, use it as a sword for our next battle, be brave and be thankful because on the other side surely a better thing than that will come to us, its just that god is preparin or us for the best thing he will be given to us. we just always have this forgiveness, acceptance and trust, with this whatever battle we will be encountering, success is always there

Nice post, and I agree. First of all, we all have something great in common with one another! We are all ALIVE! That is a miracle right there. Most of us own the computer we are typing on, which means we probably also have a roof over our heads, electricity and food. That is more than many people in the world have. Be thankful for these things and your good health, it is all a blessing!
