My dog is actually a cross between a Beagle and a Black Lab. Weird, I know. But he's quite cute! What kind of dog do you have?

We've got a two year old Siberian Husky. She's adorable but a lot of trouble too. She loves to escape from our back yard. But we still love her. We got her when she was about 4 months old from my sister in law. They had named her Athena (they named all their dogs after Greek Gods but had to move and get rid of several of them). We re-named her Haley. She looks much more like a Haley then an Athena. And she certainly doesn't act like Athena either.

They are very sweet natured dogs. But they are big dogs and that in itself sometimes can be a little overpowering. She almost knocks me down sometimes when she sees me to love on me. I would do all the fact finding you can before you get one though. They're very hyper dogs that need a lot of attention. And they're pack dogs she'd probably be better with another dog. But we have to keep her on a 25ft cable (she has a complete circle she can run in) or she gets out of our privacy fenced in yard. She's got kidnapped, dog warden called on her twice, couldn't find her for 2 weeks once...anyway that's when we finally got the cable. I hate it but it's the only way to keep her in our yard.

I've always wanted a Husky. Are they nice dogs? Do they have a mean side to them at all? I know they look really cute and awesome.

We have a collie named Lassie, no we didn't name her. She came with the name when we got her at a year and a half old from Collie Rescue. She had non-contagious mange and her previous owners let all her hair fall out and she got overed with sores. They were going to have her put to sleep but the vet saw how much she still wanted to play even through the pain so called Collie Rescue. We've had her for several years now and although the mange flares up now and then over all she is doing great.

Oh wow, you're awesome people to do that! We actually got our dog from the SPCA. We actually noticed him the very first day they brought him in, so they couldn't give him to us, but we did come back every day to look at him. He was so cute!

Haha, my dogs scared of EVERYTHING. We go for walks, and when he hears even a door slam, he'll run back home with his tail between his legs! But of everything, he HATES thunder. Shakes and cowers the entire time.

Wow, you have quite the lot there. It is weird always having so many dogs around? I know my dog LOVES to just lay in te kitchen, do your dogs make it impossible for you to move, sometimes?

Wow, that's a long time for a larger dog. I hope my dog lasts that long! He's about 9 right now, so...we'll see.

I have two dogs!
Daisy is a Beagle / Basset Hound Mix - and we think she's got a little bit of Basenji in her, too. She's yellow, like a yellow Lab. A lot of people think she's a Lab puppy - but at 3 years old, she's full grown (she's Beagle sized).
Bella is a Germand Shepherd / Husky / Boxer mix - though she looks nothing like either of her parents! Her Mom was a big purebred Boxer - about 80 pounds. Her Dad was a giant Husky / GSD mix - about 120 pounds. Full grown, Bella's only gotten up to 50-55 pounds. But, she was the runt of the litter.

Oh my goodness! My parent's dog (That I brought home when I was in 11th grade) looks EXACTLY like your dog! He's a lab/beagle mix, as well. But, my dog that lives with me is a miniature pinscher.

I have a black/grey poodle named Teddy. She is very intelligent and sometimes I think she is a person not a dog.

I have an australian shepherd and a boxer. My boxer, of course is hyper, and was a replacement of another boxer, boots that I had to have put to sleep at the old age of 18.
