Simpsons Movie

July 27th, the day after my birthday it hits major theatres. I can't wait either since I'm a Simposons freak. I saw a teaser trailer a couple weeks ago for the movie. The producers are being real secretive regarding the content of the movie. I've been asked many times, "why go pay money to see something you can watch on t.v?" And I say that it's because it's on the big screen and it will be different than the show. I just hate that we have to wait another 6 months for it.

I completely forgot about it, but now that you reminded me, I also want to see it. I'm not sure that it will outgross Shrek 2, but it will certainly gross a ton of cash, that's for sure. Most people have been waiting for a Simpsons movie for a loooong time, and the series just keeps on going and going, even long after times when people think that it jumped the shark.

I wish it could make more money than Pirates of the Carribean,that would be funny. I bet they will have tons of celebrity voices too. I can't wait until it comes out either. Hoo-ray for the Simpsons!

Me and my hubby both can't wait. We've always loved The Simpsons, and making a simpsons movie is an awesome idea the producers had. Can't wait to see it!

I agree with you there. The fact is that I watched this since I was a kid, my dad watched since I was a kid, now years and years later many other kids are getting into it. This movie will be great for all ages! I can't wait :) Although I heard it might mean the end of the series.. so I'm not sure I like that :(

The simpsons movie is going to be one of the funniest movies ever! I have seen some of the commercials for it and it is hilarious I love the simpsons and i will for as long as it is on. No matter wat age you are there are jokes that everyone can understand

Yes, I am also very excited about this movie and I sure hope it delivers to its hype. With the huge fanbase that the Simpsons have, it definately has a chance of becoming the top grossing film of all time. We will see come summer.

Wow I didn't know there was one coming out I wonder if my Son knows I will have to ask him later as he is Simpson mad

it is coming either in may or june. but yea, i am excited that is going to come out. i am, definitely going to go see it when it comes out. hopefully the first day it comes out.

Not to sure of top grossing film of all time, but I do think it will be pretty good. Everybody knows who the Simpsons are, just the movie itself isn't getting enough hype. It'll be good, just not as good as everybody who's a die hard fan is hoping for. Time will tel, though. I just hope that it goes to the "cheapy" shows in my area. I'm not big on going to the theatres, but nobody ever shows up to this place. I just went to see the new Tenacious D movie, and there were about 7 other people in the theatre with us! It was awesome!

It could be the largest grossing film of all time since it has a large fan base who will definately go and see the movie :P Am waiting for it too :P Looks so funny hehe

I'm interested in seeing who wrote it. There are some guys who wrote the earlier episodes that I really like, but some of the newer ones I don't like so much. I'll probably see it either way but the writers will be the most important part for me as to whether or not I enjoy it.
