Do you guys tend to start discussions more or respond more? Or a bit of both...Just curious about what most people do on mylot here/what they like to do better.
Personally I tend to respond more unless I think of a question/something I think is kind of interesting that I haven't read elsewhere on this site. Then I start my own discussion.

After spending even just about a half-hour here, whatever discussion I may have thought of starting of just goes down the drain, so I find myself responsing to discusions more often. There's also the worry that the topic I have planned on starting may have already been posted by a number of users already, it's tiresome enough trying to look for an interesting discussion among all the silly ones being posted my the minute, more so when you duplicates of a discussion.

I like to respond more and I post only discussions tht interest me not unnecessary or repeeated ones. I hate answering similar discussions unless there's something new to it. I have found this approach to help me earn quite well too. s here quality counts not quantity.

I definitely respond more, unless I come up with a good idea.

Responding is easier than trying to come up with an original idea for a discussion! I've started reading the news and looking for unusual things to use as postings, but most days, I'm just trying to find good discussions to answer.

Yeah, same thing for me. Usually I start a discussion only when I have random inspiration that makes me think "Oh, that would be an interesting post!" I don't understand how some users just bang out hundreds of discussion questions...I think that's sometimes unnecessary though.

I do respond more often than I make posts. I have a hard time making posts as I don't want to sound stupid and I don't like the thought of posting something that maybe a hundred people have already posted. By the time that they get to my post I will not get any replies anyhow as they are tired of it already. It is a lot more enjoyable for me to read through what everyone else has posted and make my comments where I can.

I definitely like to do both , I usually write my own discussion and responsed to discussion that I like most. It's interesting to be here actually. You will get paid for all the post you make.

Respond. The discussions I start must be boring cause only a few true blue friends bother to respond. Sometimes I enjoy finding a thread with no responce and throwing in my two cents to see if it gets picked up on.

I definitely respond more. There are so many discussions on so many different things, that I get caught up reading them all... not necessarily responding, lol

I'm trying it all, starting new discussions, commenting on the responses I get, responding to others discussions and rating the answers I get.
Can't see that any thing pays any better than anything else, but I am having fun.

Oh, and I forgot. Adding tags, tags and more tags. Sometimes I have more tags than words in my response.

I definitly respond more than I do starting a discussion. I wouldn't mind starting a discussion if I actually had something to ask that I did not see on here already. I just find meaningless discussions to be a bore. Like the jokes people post on here. Yes, they tend to be funny, but is it really a discussion? No, it is just a way to get more points.

I usually respond more. For some reason, not many people respond to my discussions.

Oh no! Do you have many friends? Or do you post under "interests" or just under "general discussion" when you generally start a discussion? These things could help you earn more responses maybe.
