Yes there is charges applicable but not high.

I am the great fans of Skype, i used it to call Germany mostly, it is great, i stil remembered in Sep, there are some problem of logging in Skype, my telephone charged increase several hundred, oh, my God.

I have installed Skype Software in my PC but i have never use it , now i will be try to use it

i love to use skype. its quality of voice is good. i always use skype to call my brother in UK.

I only discovered skype lately. Some says skype is good and in some forums they prefer skype than yahoo messenger when calling PC-to-PC calls. Just like the others skype PC-to-PC call are free. But, call to landline and mobile phone there are charges.

Skype only charges if you are calling a landline or a mobile. If you are calling another skype user with a mic it is always free. The rates to overseas phones are unbeatable. I used to talk to my boyfriend in England and only pay about a dollar every 50 minutes. Calling mobiles was about 25 cents per minute which is not so great, but still useful for a quick word. The SMS feature is also fantastic and costs about 10 cents per text message.
