How can the top ten pay back thousands when they are laborers? The top ten in Texas owe collectively 700,000 in back child support!

my hubby owed $18,000 so we paid $50 week for almost 9 1/2 years so i dont know how antone can pay back that much unless they were rich an had nice stuff to sell.their child support payment must have really high to reach this amount

It looks like they will have to make the payments more reasonable for them to have any chance of catching up!

It defintly does. It is a shame the amounts got up so high before they tried to start working on this.I just saw this and felt it was a very high amount to owe.

They get away with it most of the time. The judge says, "well you cannot bleed money from a stone." Or, the judge will demand a portion of their pay check forever.

they should have been paying. me if i ever had kids with someone and they did not pay child support i would be on top of it. u are not going to leave me with a baby to take care of while u do whatever. the guy should get prepared to stay in jail because if i dont c a check every week i will be right at the court house filing papers. but on the other hand if u are doing what u should then we have no problem.
