have you been to the philippines...what vacation spot/s have you been to?

do you know that most filipinos haven't been around in their own homeland? the philippines has a lot of wonderful sites to visit.of course, one is the well known BORACAY. but there are still alot of places that haven't been mentioned nor written in the books.if you have any experiences with any one of the sites, we would like to hear from you

aside from boracay, there are lots of places to visit in the philipines like puerto galera, pagudpud, baguio,rice terraces. for dive buffs, we have excellent dive spots in batangas, and tubbataha reef (though I haven't been to the reef, need to summon my guts).

palawan or the coron island is one of the best.though, boracy beach is still the best beach if only there are only a few people.there is another side of boracay called bulabog beach where they do their wind surfing and other water sports.

my brother and sister had told me how beautiful palawan has become. i was there when it was not yet fully developed yet for tourism purposes. also, bohol is another good place to see again. it seems i have been missing a lot these days.

i am a filipino myself and yet i have never been to boracay yet. i have seen many places before all over the country. it is sad that when these sites have been developed, i no longer had the time to be visiting them. however, i must not feel so sad. the tourist spots around where i am settled now are plentiful. in fact, i can never have enough time to be able to enjoy all the beautiful sites here in region xi. the last trip i had was when i went to a trip to lake sebu which i accessed through koronadal, south cotabato. it is so beautiful in its current state, naturally beautiful.

i hope to see those places ,too.i made a vow on myself to visit one place in the philippines which i have not been to, i believe we have more sites here than abroad. i want to go to places where it is not commercial, somewhat secluded.

i am from the philippines and i admit that i haven't been to so many places here. there are lots of beautiful places here in the philippines that we can visit and have fun. plus it's not that expensive, too.
i am from davao city. and most of the wonderful places here, i had been to already. i had been to general santos city, to digos city, to laguna, to antipolo, to quezon province, to manila, to cebu, to bohol, to davao oriental, to bulacan and to many places around the philippines. and since this is a country of too many islands, i might not be able to see all of philippines. however, atleast i have been through so many wonderful places already.
and oh, my boyfriend who is from sweden loves our country!

Hello tigerdragon! It the dream of my life to go round my beloved country and visit all the tourist spots Philippines has to offer but it just remain a dream up to now maybe someday when I have my vacation there I want to try boracay it is near my province at least an hour or two by boat. By the way the island of Masbate at the tip of Southern Luzon in Bicol has beautiful beaches still untapped and untainted by commercialism the only problem is the difficulty of transportation to be there from other parts of the Philippines.

most of the best and very good spots in the philippines are places where it is hard to go to and that means that it is untapped by commercialism and only a few tourist goes.it is wise to get to know some locals within the place to guide you to virgin places which no one has gone to.

well philippines has many different places to visit and one of the most famous is the boracay,i myself really wants to go there but unfortunately i didn't have time this summer i guess i must try my luck next summer..
