Do you watch the PBA tour on ESPN? If so, who is your favorite pro bowler and why? It can be male or female. I would have to say Pete Weber because he is so animated and full of energy and emotion out there and is funny. A lot of them have great reactions after striking but he is tops in my opinion.

Tim Criss because he actually taught me to bowl. Walter Ray Williams Jr. because he is so good. Del Ballard because he made the biggest mistake ever in professional bowling. Mark Roth because that is who I emulated growing up (cranking the ball, something few people did back then). Marshall Holman(n) because of his energy. Parker Bohn III because he's a deep down-and-in lefty like myself. Horray for the 1-board. Amletto Monacelli because he looks like a pretzel throwing the ball. There are literally so many...

Did you watch the classic on tv today? Sean Nash really put on a show today against Healey and Zimmel. He was throwing strikes like crazy and has won three titles in three tv show appearances. Could he be the next Tiger Woods of Bowling?

Basketball is nice to watch as well and I watch that sport too but since I am in a bowling league I like to follow bowling and try and learn some things from watching them. Pete Weber did not win today though.

I am embarrassed to say this but I can't name one professional bowler.. I don't think bowling is really promoted on our cable provider as much as in other areas)

That is ashame they do not promote it there as they show it on ESPN every sunday afternoon during the fall and winter seasons here.

I watch the Pba every sunday without anyone bothering. and there is one person i have watched from his first day on the PBA. THis one person is one Sean Rash he is the best bowler on the tour right now and could be the best of all time.

It is too early to say that he is the best of all time since his career has just started but he has been amazing so far and is perfect on tv. It is amazing how accurate he is on his strikes and he converts some tough splits as well. He has a way to go to be better than Walter Ray Williams or Pete Weber and a handful of others but if he keeps going at this pace he will be the best.

Chris Barnes is a very excellent bowler and he did very well this past sunday in the tournament and fell short. I like him very much as well as he is very calm and smooth and bowls well. Very good choice. :-)

Sorry but I don't watch that show. I'm not much of a sport watcher on tv.

That is okay as bowling may not appeal to many or all people. I love bowling and try to learn things from the best bowlers in the world.

I used to watch bowling all the time in my younger days. But I can't remember their names. I don't recall ever seing a woman on the PBA tour. But that was about about 25-30 years ago.lol. I liked to hang out at the bowling alley too and watch them bowl. I like to bowl, I'm just not that good at it.

They used to have a professional womans league but they canceled it due to financial problems so women can compete with the guys now in the mens league if they want to. Some of the women have done very well in the mens league. There are a lot of good bowlers and probably many you wouldn't recognize if you haven't watched it in a while.

Wow. That is great that you were taught how to bowl by a professional bowler though I am not familiar with him. Walter Ray Williams Jr is amazing and so consistent. I like Norm Duke very much and Chris Barnes as they are both great bowlers and very classy and professional. Tommy Jones is incredible too as well as the ones that you had mentioned.
