How bad did Tony Romo blow the Cowboys season?

I personally don't like the Cowboys at all and I am glad they lost, but the way they lost was horrible. I know it is a team effort, but my gosh, he really blew it this time, losing his fourth straight game by messing up a routine field goal. How bad do you think it was?

Don't blame TR. Blame TO. The Cowboys have been playing miserable football the last month. When you let a team like the Detroit Lions (my team) beat you, you deserve to lose a playoff game by making a Lion type play. This is a playbook standard for the Lions...botching a kick. I am surprised the Cowboys stole it. Anyway, those guys got a gazzilion super bowl wins and we can't even spell super bowl. The talent in the league is going downhill when so many 9-7 and 8-8 teams make the playoffs.

I hear you on this one. I believe T.O. just made it tougher on the whole team this year by being a media circus. You are right, when you can't beat a Lions team that probably wanted to lose, that is pretty bad. Thanks!

Well, the Cowboys were a circus this year between T.O. and the overhyped Romo who ended up getting to the Pro Bowl which is a joke! I'm glad I'm not a Cowboys fan, but Romo in the Pro Bowl insults the fans and the game. He started 1/2 a season and had 4 good games and that was it, that is not worth putting him into the Pro Bowl at all. He got what he deserves, now he should turn down the Pro Bowl nomination.

Yeah, that is what I said about the Pro Bowl selection. That was the worst pick ever, especially now. Like you said, he should give it up. Thanks for your response! Oh, and I hope T.O. goes as well, right out of the league, because he is overhyped as well, dropping easy passes all the time.

Being a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan I watched the game intently Saturday evening, my thoughts are that it was not all Romo's fault, what about the missed passes that T.O. did not get, not a fan of T.O. and hoping that he does not come back next year for another season, but I appauld Parcels for his efforts this year, just a few years ago we could barely win 2 games for the season and now after 4 years we are contenders for the Playoffs, he has done a remarkable job as a coach and the Cowboys are privileged to have him. Way to go Cowboys and next year we will be bigger and better!!

I was rooting for the Seahawks, even though I love the Steelers. I hate the Boys, and for their season to end like that is just a testament to their circus like year, from T.O. and his crap to all the rumors about Romo dating whoever it was this week. Romo got caught in the spotlight and it went to his head, and he really blew it this time.

Being that I was rooting for the Seahawks, I was in a state of shock for about five minutes after it happened. I figured OK, great season, time to pack it in, but then he fumbled and I was excited, but then it looked like he might score a touchdown, and I was less excited, and then Babenoeax (however you spell it) made that sweet diving tackle, and by that time I was practically hugging the TV.
