Will COMPUTERS take over the world and CONTROL HUMAN RACE

Many films like the Matrix and terminator show that after the development of artificial intelligence the computers will take over the world and it will supress the human race at this rate of computer development. Will that happen in the future????

no. computers need someone to program them. otherwise they wont be able to function correctly. sometimes computers crash and they still need humans to fix and reprogram them. there is no way that computers will control the human race in the future. it is just fiction.

That is only the present stage of development.In the future, development of AI would help computers to think for itself and take decisions. What then...

Only if we decide to make hem intelligent enough to take over the world. I believe computers should only be used as a tool to get things done not to make decisions for us.

with new datamining concepts computers are taking decisions, even in mylot computer is taking decisions on giving us money isnt it, so we have an interesting future ahead, sometimes we may not even have 1

well computers cannot think and act for themselves so no they cannot take over the world its just that in the future almost everything will be computerized.

Not if they've got a brain in their processors and want to get on with anything important. Actually the human race is doing a pretty good job of suppressing itself these days, so they may not get the chance.

All nuclear facilities are connected to computers so some times it may be possible that in the future AI computers may use it against mankind
