mike286 Im lost without my car I cant think how I got by without being able to drive.. My Mum and Dad only learned to drive in the last few years so whle I was growing up we didnt have a car and got around fine on public tranport but I wouldnt dream of doing that...

mike286 Sophos Anti virus is good. Also you may want to try and use a dos or safe mode virus scanner which should be able to delete the virus and stop it comming back. Some anit virus programs cant delete infected files when running windows. Have a look at this...

mike286 Firefox has to be one of the best browsers out there. version 2 is great and has some excellent plugins to help in the development of web pages. I have to use IE occationally though just to check compatability.

mike286 I find using microsoft OS better as I find it esier to customise it to my liking. But that may be because I don't know Mac OS very well. Mac does look nicer though.

mike286 We do need a number of different languages to perorm different tasks. eg you wouldn't use assembly code to create web pages. But I think there are far too many languages out there. I tend to only learn the languages I think are going to be most usefull to...
