What brand of RAM do you use and which do you think is the best? I've been buying Ultra recently and really like it, plus you can get coolers for the Dimms from Ultra for only a couple of dollars for a pair so it is cheaper than buying RAM with the coolers attached.

These are not brands. That does not answer the posted question that I asked. 1GB is the size and your operating system was definitely not the subject of the post.

But what brand. The type and size of RAM is dependent on the computer but my question was as to what brand of RAM people preferred to buy for their computer.

For RAM brands, I highly recommend Kingston or Apacer. I have been using RAMs of these brands and I haven't encountered a single memory-related problem. =)

I use two 512MB DIMM from Zion. It has been working for 2 years trouble free and I hope it will go on. They give 3 years warranty and I have not seen the "Blue screen".

Very interesting question there friend. But, when talking about best brand for RAM, it's not the brand that you are suppose to look at actuly. Afcouse, if you want too look for a cheap RAM, I pick KingStone. It's depends on your country location.
You need to look at the speed first. You should take DDR2 ram! They are among the fastest RAM avalable. Remember, big capacity doesn't means it good. Like me, if I am not mistaken, I am using 2 pieces of 512MB DDR2 533MHz.

I had Generic before and it only lasted for 3 years. Now, I have 1Gb kingston PC3200 CL2.5 DDR and I think it's the best brand for me so far though it is expensive.
